The Father Says Today: July 17th, 2020

The Father says today I am the God of the Burning Bush, and I know how to get your attention. Trust Me in the quiet times. If you knew what lay ahead in terms of ministry purpose and being about your Father’s business, you wouldn’t be so worried about this time of inactivity. Learn to work while it is day for the night comes when no man can work. Rest in quiet times. In the quiet times, let My peace act as an umpire in your heart settling with all finality every decision not out of fear that everything will grind to a halt but out of expectation that there is a new launching ahead. Moses was faithful to keep another’s flocks, and because of that faithfulness, he was in the right place and the right time to see what I wanted him to see and to take his sandals from off his feet to accept his commissioning.

Relax says, God. Trust Me and let Me take it from here. The wicked are as the raging sea never resting, ever foaming out their shame. Even My people are possessed of a Martha mentality scorning Mary, who only desired to sit at My feet and learn of Me. There are things you will never learn until you empty your hands and open your heart for a fresh vision and a realigning of what I am saying. Stop asking Me to rain manna down on things that are in the rearview mirror of My purposes. Follow the cloud by day and the fire by night. The things that have died, and yes, the things that are stinking will have their days in the grave but am I not the God who said, “Lazarus, come forth!”? Stop trying so hard to bring the wind. You aren’t a human box fan, and the outpouring of what I am about to do originates in Me and not in your efforts. The priests of the Lord were not and are not allowed to sweat. Relax. Rest in Me. Wait for the cloud the size of man’s hand, and then you will run for the abundance of rain will be in your land.
