The Father says today, your companionship is in Me this day. Sorrow of heart, loneliness, isolation? They flee away as I gather you up in My everlasting arms. Feel the kiss of heaven on your brow today, for I’ve seen your suffering and heard the cry of your heart, and I Am responding in the affirmative to meet your deepest needs. Disappointment? Not your portion. Devastation? Lifted from you as I gather you to My embrace. The past? Let it go. Release the past, and in releasing the past, you free yourself to be all I’ve called you to be and have all that I’ve promised. Know this – if they could have done differently, those that wounded you would have. Forgive them – they didn’t know what they were doing. If they saw the consequences of their actions, they would make different choices, but I call upon you this day (once again) to forgive, release, bless and move on as I lift you and lead you to your blessing place in Me.
Lose your life in Me today, says the Father. Empty your hands from grasping for that which you cannot hold and open your heart to all that I’m pouring in of My healing balm even this day. Do you want peace, or do you want understanding? Relinquish the need to know and to control, and to influence the outcome. Just lay back against My bosom and allow My faithfulness to envelop you and surround you and heal you from every hurt and all damage that life and people and things have perpetrated against you. Your past is no commentary on your future. Your present is not static or unchanging, for I am the change that comes now – even with the Angel of Change to initiate the change and bring you out of the dry and dead wilderness and into the fullness of My refreshing river even this day, says God.

As it so happens, I experienced the preceding quote through a disagreement with my significant chosen. Basically, he was upset at the perception that I’m controlling him. He even addressed how my past hurts are hurting our relationship. I accepted responsibility and apologized.
