Conquering the Spirit of Python, Part 1

Introduction: Praying to Interpret

Prophet Kitty has often said that anything that makes you do a double-take you should pray to interpret. In the last many months pythons have been in the news including a python flying on the wing of a jetliner for all to see.

Whatever the spirit of python represents (and we will study it here) this spirit is in the ascendency and we as believers are authorized to rule and reign in the heavenlies with our savior Jesus Christ. What is the first thing you want to do when you walk up on a snake? The fight or flight instinct immediately activates. If you walk outside your door and find a serpent on your stoop you will be instantly vigilant and on the aggression until the threat is eliminated. God put this in men and women to teach them to deal not only with natural threats but spiritual threats as well.

The Seven Spirits of God:

One of the seven spirits of God in Isa. 11:1-5 is the Spirit of the Lord. Your Father has this problem: He thinks He’s GOD! He spoke through Isaiah again:

Isa 44:8 – Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared [it]? ye [are] even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, [there is] no God; I know not [any].

It is God’s nature to cast down all rule and it is God’s character on the inside of you that will provoke you to resist and cast down this negative influence in the earth, in your life and in your sphere of influence.

Are You Dealing with a Spirit or Fallen Humanity?

Today people are quick to name something a spirit that may or may not be a spirit. It is important to know and not assume whether something you are facing has a spiritual root to it.

Sometimes you are dealing simply with the flesh – with fallen humanity (yours or someone else’s). Paul outlines a litany of things that are often considered a spirit when they are more accurately understood as manifestations of fallen humanity:

Gal 5:19-21 – Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

It is not our purpose here to comment on deliverance ministry where individuals are concerned. In this article we are looking to the broader scope of demonic strategy which takes in whole cultures – in this case the United States. In our country the spirit of Python has been tightening its grip on our land for over a year now.

The Voice of the Prophets:

Kim Clement is one of the most accurate prophetic voices in the earth today. From 2009 to the present Kim’s prophetic archive contains no less than twelve references to the spirit of python and its workings against the western world and the United States in particular.

Interestingly enough on November 5th, 2012 Kim commented on a vision in which he not only saw the spirit of python but also noted that there were vapors coming off of the serpent. These vapors were manifesting in the form of lies, deceit, predictions and prognostications that had the effect of suffocating those they came into contact with.
The Corrupt and Contaminating Influence of Negativity and Doom-sayers:

The year 2013 kicked off in the aftermath of a centuries old prediction by the ancient Mayans about a time of great cataclysm beginning in December of 2012. The Mayans worshipped a feathered serpent. Interesting that we have a flying serpent in the news as though the ancient Mayan doomsday god was reasserting himself as though to say even though the winter solstice passed – he was alive and well.

The devil always shows his hand because he never does anything unique or original. This Mayan prophecy has been a vaporous stench for centuries as authors and analysts, including men of science and religion have studied this doomsday prediction and distracted and diverted whole peoples for naught!

Kim Clement’s vision of the vapors coming off the serpent is accurate beyond all coincidence in comparison to an ancient serpent cult that maintained an oracle in Delphi. At Delphi the origins of the python spirit reach back into prehistory and you will find it originates in the ancient oracle of Delphi where the soothsayers would inhale the vapors coming off the corpse of a mythical python and then prophesy about world events and the outcome of battles and political upheavals

The Drive for Power and Control:

A python overpowers its prey by wrapping its coils around it till the prey cannot move or breath. For years now men of wisdom have decried the erosion of our privacies and freedoms. You can hardly undertake any endeavor in life without encountering the coils of regulatory demands when you want to open a business, taxes to be paid, statutes to be observed, law suits to protect against. The financial burden on our privacy and freedom is ponderous to the point of suffocates creativity and entrepreneurialship just as the python squeezes it prey to death. This has been true for the last hundred years in this country and particularly in the aftermath of WWII and the inauguration of vast social programs that do more to engender their own existence than to meet the needs of the people they claim to serve.

In the media and the political arena today there are two starkly opposing ideologies that are being passionately championed. The left promotes a liberal agenda of social entitlement and increased taxes. The right champions the idea of smaller government and low taxes to facilitate growth of the economy. Neither of these political forces can lay legitimate claim to the moral or spiritual high ground. Their highest ethic is to gain power and maintain it as long as possible. When these parties find themselves out of the majority they work tireless to impede the efforts of the ruling party regardless of what is good for the country or beneficial to the common man.
