Today, the Father says it is time to deal with the troublemakers and rabble-rousers in your life and situation. They have mistaken your kindness for weakness and your patience for lack of discernment concerning their true motives. They supported you in your suffering and held your head in their hands when despair overwhelmed you, but when the blessing came, and promotion lifted you into new places of favor and opportunity, jealousy overcame them, and bitter envying turned them into an enemy of all that God is doing in your life. You have tolerated their misbehavior because you want to believe the best in the relationship, but God says, “Open your eyes and see the strategy of hell against you, taking advantage of your gentleness and fidelity in relationship to harm and destroy you and pull you back down into discouragement and failure. That’s all they understand. They cannot fathom that I would give you something they do not possess or walk in, so they’ve worked against that which I would bring about in your behalf.”

You have wondered why trusted relationships cooled seemingly for no reason, but look again, says the Father, “for a whisperer separates chief friends, even as My word declares.” God is opening your eyes, sharpening your discernment, and showing you those things done in the darkness that you might avoid their presence, even as David evaded the javelins of envy thrown by a demon-inspired King Saul. It is distasteful to you to deal with such things, but the loss is not only yours but those souls who will be polluted with the lies and darkness of heart if these things go unchecked. Just so you know, you are up to the task. God is with you and will keep you moving in love, wisdom, and authority, not allowing you to stoop to the same tactics lest you also suffer the same negative outcome. This is a point of maturity, says the Father. It is a time to see things as they are and know the work that the enemy desires to do and those—even those close to you—who have allowed themselves to be used by the enemy in ways that don’t reflect God’s plan for your life. It is distasteful and difficult to face, but the end of the matter will be all paths leading to peace and forward momentum without the draining, distracting influence of those who, in opposing you, in fact, oppose themselves and forsake their own mercy.
