The Intercessor’s Daily Update – June 21st 2026

This is Prophet Russ and welcome to the Daily Intercessor’s Update for June 21, 2026. Is your church a house of prayer or a house of  “church as entertainment?” I remember growing up wondering why almost every church had a mid-week prayer meeting on Wednesday nights but in reality no one led or conducted prayer in these gatherings? Eventually midweek gatherings ceased and Sunday night gatherings soon after. Jesus didn’t say His house would be a house of worship entertainment, or snappy sermons served fast in 30 minutes or your tithe back (of course few tithe any more either do they? What is the call of intercession today? In 2 Timothy 2:1-2, the Apostle Paul charges us to offer supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. Let the word discern our culture and the church’s place in it. If things aren’t as Paul described it’s because the church isn’t praying and that includes us. So let’s embrace this prayer responsibility together shall we? • [Prayer]: Lord, provide supernatural wisdom to economic leaders and administrative policy makers to navigate this financial instability. We pray for the stabilization of resource pipelines and ask that You protect families globally from the crushing weight of manufactured scarcity.

• [Warfare Declaration]: We command the spirits of economic panic, artificial famine, and financial starvation to loose their grip on the supply chains of the earth. We decree Kingdom provision and stability over the households of the saints.

The war in Ukraine has degraded into a brutal war of attrition, with Russia suffering massive manpower losses due to highly coordinated Ukrainian drone defenses. In retaliation, Moscow has intensified its missile barrages, while Ukraine continues to launch high-precision drone strikes deep inside Russian territory, creating intense anxiety over a massive, uncontained tactical escalation.
