The Father says today, stop disqualifying yourself from the very thing I am inviting you into. You have examined your weaknesses and concluded that someone stronger, wiser, younger, more prepared, or more accomplished would be better suited for the assignment. But I did not consult your insecurities when I called you. I knew your history when I chose you. I knew where you would stumble and where you would need grace. I knew the chapters you would wish could be rewritten, and none of them surprised Me. My grace has not merely tolerated you; My grace has been forming you.

Even the places where you have known weakness have taught you how to recognize My strength. Even the places where you have needed mercy have enlarged your capacity to give mercy to another. So come out from behind the curtain of inadequacy. Stop rehearsing the reasons you cannot and begin agreeing with the One who says you can do what I have called you to do. I am not requiring perfection before obedience. Give Me your yes. Take the step. Speak the word. Open the door. What I begin through surrendered obedience I am well able to sustain by My grace.
