The Father says today, I am tending the places in your heart that you have learned to walk around. You have become accustomed to carrying some things simply because you have carried them for so long. But familiar pain is still pain, and I did not call you to build a home around yesterday's wound. Let Me come near. I am not entering that tender place to condemn you or expose you to shame. I come as the Comforter. I come to bind what has been torn, strengthen what has grown weary, and breathe hope where disappointment has made the atmosphere thin.

You do not have to explain everything to Me. I was there. I saw what others did not see. I heard what was said and what was never spoken. Others may lose their importance in the light of My presence. For My healing is not merely the explanation of what happened; My healing is the restoration of what pain tried to steal from you. I am restoring tenderness without vulnerability to fear, strength without hardness, and hope without striving. Let Me love you here.
