The Father says today, I would not that you live in abandonment at the mercy of the whims of others. Disappointments come, and those closest to you will falter and fail just when you need them most. When all other lights fail, keep your trust in the promise of My word to be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path at all times. Anchor your sense of self-referral in who I am in your life and not any person or situation or outward security. Never give away your self-respect to the false strength of an ego-driven manipulative person. They quote My word and make loud protestations, but in the end, they will merely use you and kick you to the curb when they have no more use for you. That is not My plan, and that is not My purpose for your life.
Make a choice, says the Father, to gather your strength around the truth of what I am saying and what I am doing right now in your situation. Change is coming, and the shift you’ve asked for is already underway. Out of the pressures around you, promotion will come, and the bleak outlook intimidating you will be a distant memory of troubles that never happened. In the heat of the moment, be reminded that I’ve heard your voice and I inhabit My people’s praises. I formed you and created you as a creature of dominion, and in the authority of the Cross, you will stand up and be strong. You will not be confounded, and you will not come to shame. The reproach of the scorners and despisers who dream of your destruction will be utterly defeated, for your hope in Me will not be disappointed, says God.
