Deut 28:1-7 ‘“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God: “Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the country. “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. “Blessed shall you be when you come in and blessed shall you be when you go out. “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. “
The Blessing and the Curse are clearly laid out in Deut.28. Only 14 verses describe the blessing which are all-encompassing in every area of life. The blessing is more than just spiritual but soul, body, financially and socially as well. The Curse, however, takes from verse 16-68 to describe. It is not only the opposite of everything listed here, but includes every sickness not specifically mentioned, and the descriptions are not pleasant. It is a good reminder of what God considers good vs evil, rich vs poor, sick vs health, etc. God desires that we prosper and be in health even as our souls prosper. Our soul is prospering as these words permeate our thinking. The only requirement is that we obey the voice of the Lord God and carefully observe His commandments. It’s pretty simple really. The only way we can do that, however, is to know what He has already said. Yes, prophetically we hear Him and we learn to obey His voice, but what we hear will always line up with what He already said.

Deut 8-14 The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you. “The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.’
A little dab will do ya is not My Blessing, says the Father. When I command something, change happens, things align. What is a commanded blessing on your storehouse? Surely this isn’t a junk drawer where things go that have no place, but these are things stored, worth saving for a purpose. What once was grain and cattle is now cash, banks, credit, stock and pantries. What might My storehouses in Heaven contain? Yes I have storehouses with things you have need of. I have many ways to get things to you. Sadly, many people give up right before their breakthrough. They tithed a couple times and didn’t get their million dollars and declared themselves never tithers. Well, I don’t need their tithe, nor do I want it. Money coming from sceptics and murmurers is not giving. What kind of reaping might that produce? My Word produces what it says it will produce, not in the way or time you might expect it, but always causes prosperity and health when it is planted and believed in your heart which brings righteousness and when confession comes from your mouth, it produces salvation, “Sozo,” saving, healing, delivering from whatever you have need.

The Curse is listed in great detail in verses 15-68. Deut 28:15, 61-62 ‘“But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the Lord bring upon you until you are destroyed. You shall be left few, whereas you were as the stars of heaven in multitude, because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God.
The Father says today, it is not My desire to bring a curse upon you. The Tree of Life vs The Knowledge of Good vs Evil, they are working in the earth. The Blessing from My Tree of Life bringing you everything that pertains to Godliness and contains Glory, to bring you to highest heart’s desire and greatest dreams fulfilled. The curse has no life in it and cannot bring you anything but what you don’t desire. I set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore, choose LIFE and you and your seed will live. That you would love Me and obey My voice, that you would cling to Me because I AM your life and the length of your days that you may dwell in the land that I have given you. It is a good land and it is more than just a piece of real estate, it is personal property that I am building on the inside of you. You are being made into My image, so align your thinking, at any given moment, with what I might want to say or do. You might be surprised that I like to have fun too, but it’s not all fun and games, things are getting serious and require your undivided attention. I AM in the details.

What a word. Praise God! You know, 2 Chron. 20:20 says, “believe the prophets” and this is one of those moments. Sometimes prophets prophesy because they see coming for you. Then sometimes they prophesy from a level of oracle prophecy we mentioned last week. Oracle prophecy is when the thing God promises you happens BECAUSE THE PROPHET SAYS IT. The prophet doesn’t merely see it coming; they are prophesying it into existence. I declare this is your portion today. Believe for God’s best. Expect radical and immediate outcomes. Act in faith and lay hold of the impossible and see it become a manifest reality in your life! As we said last week – this is your AMAZEMENT SEASON, for we serve an amazing God!
