Colossians
In the book of Colossians, the apostle Paul declares that God is your rescue!
[Col 1:13 KJV] 13 [God,] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son:
The original word translated “delivered” in the verse above includes the meaning of “rescue, preservation, away from bondage, temptation and ‘that which is impending” upon us. What a promise we have in Jesus. No matter what seems to loom on the horizon of our tomorrow or how dark the clouds might be, Jesus came 2000 years ago and established Himself as our rescue and preservation from every threat of the enemy!
