Promise 66: 2 Peter – 61

2 Peter

In Peter’s second letter, he emphasizes that God’s will is that we aspire and prosper in natural things as well as spiritual things:

2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain [not only to] godliness but to life [in general] as well.

Again as in Peter’s first letter, we see in this passage Peter’s embrace of spiritual truth in practical application and benefit to believers in very tangible ways. Jesus said in Matt. 6:33 that all things are added when we seek the kingdom. Know this and settle it in your mind – you are a kingdom seeker, and that queues you up to the blessings that address all areas of your life!
