Do You Feel Alone?

On the run from Jezebel, Elijah felt very alone. He was convinced he was the only one who hadn’t succumbed to Baal worship. Do you feel like you are all by yourself? It can be the most debilitating experience that saps your strength and robs you of your joy. Regardless of how it felt to Elijah, God assures him that there are yet 7000 in Israel who hadn’t bowed the knee to Baal or given in to Jezebel’s charms. You are not alone. God sets the solitary in families. In the last 20 years, the koninea fellowship of God’s people has been greatly decimated. The ministry of the body of Christ has been replaced with Dark Church where the lights are down low and you watch the performers on stage while looking at the back of someone’s head for the duration of the show. Things are changing. God is bringing his dynamic family back together like never before. Jezebel’s rule will soon end. The Baal leaders will fall and the dogs will lap their blood where Naboth’s life was taken from him. The Ahabs stole the vineyard but God is at work. Be encouraged oh, faithful of God, a new day is dawning in the purposes of God.
