Good morning, friends. It is a privilege to stand with you again this morning, not with the weight of the world’s headlines on our shoulders, but with the peace of Christ in our hearts. We gather here, as we do every day, to bring the needs of the nations before the throne of grace, trusting that our God is attentive and active in every corner of the earth. The Apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Timothy 2:1–2 that we should make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all people, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. This is our mandate. It is our joy.

Our first prayer focus is the ongoing detention of Pastor David Batistuta in the Solomon Islands.

According to reports from the local news outlet *Solomon Star*, Pastor David Batistuta of the Assemblies of God has been held in custody for over three weeks following the closure of his church’s premises in Honiara. The government has cited regulatory violations regarding public gatherings, a charge that many in the Christian community view as a targeted effort to silence dissenting religious voices in the capital.

Father, we lift up Pastor David and his family right now. We ask for clarity and justice for those in authority who are overseeing this case. We pray that You would soften any hearts that are hardened against the free exercise of faith, and that You would provide strength and protection to the pastor and his congregation as they navigate this legal uncertainty.

In the name of Jesus, I decree that the gates of hell shall not prevail against this local assembly. I speak freedom to the body of Christ in the Solomon Islands. I declare that the truth of the Gospel will continue to spread, unimpeded by earthly regulations or fear. We stand firm in the assurance that Your kingdom is not of this world, and it cannot be confined by human borders or bureaucratic decrees.

Our second prayer focus is the water crisis affecting the residents of Cape Town, South Africa.

*News24* has reported that several suburbs in the Western Cape are facing their most severe water restrictions in a decade due to persistent drought conditions affecting the region’s primary reservoirs. Municipal officials have announced that the City Hall will implement tiered pricing and mandatory usage limits starting next week to ensure the water supply lasts through the winter months, a decision that is causing significant stress for low-income families who rely on public supply for daily needs.

Lord, we bring the residents of Cape Town before You. We ask for Your provision to meet the physical needs of those who are struggling with rationing and rising costs. We pray for wisdom for the city leaders to manage this resource with integrity and compassion, and for the local churches to be a source of practical aid and spiritual comfort to the vulnerable in their neighborhoods.

I speak over the reservoirs of Cape Town and the water systems of the Western Cape. I decree that the flow will be restored. I declare that Your rain will fall in its season, and that there will be enough water for every household. We reject the spirit of scarcity and fear, replacing it with the expectation of Your faithful provision.

Our third prayer focus is the refugee camp in Kutupalong, Bangladesh.

*The Dhaka Tribune* noted that the camp, which houses over a million Rohingya refugees, is currently experiencing a surge in cholera cases after heavy rains contaminated the shared water sources. Medical workers on the ground report that the lack of clean water and overcrowding has made it difficult to contain the outbreak, with several tents being isolated to prevent further spread within the densely populated settlement.

Father, we intercede for the men, women, and children living in Kutupalong. We ask for a halt to the spread of disease and for the swift arrival of medical supplies and clean water. We pray for the compassion of the international community and the local Bangladeshi government to ensure that these displaced people are treated with dignity and care, not as a burden, but as neighbors in need of mercy.

In the name of Jesus, I break the power of disease over this camp. I declare that health and healing will flow into every tent. I speak life over the children and the elderly, and I decree that the fear of sickness will be replaced by the peace of Your presence. We stand on the promise that You are the healer of the sick, and no camp, no matter how crowded, is beyond the reach of Your grace.

Our fourth prayer focus is the mining community in Escondida, Chile.

*El Mercurio* reported that workers at the Escondida copper mine have initiated a formal negotiation process with the company’s management regarding safety protocols after two workers were injured in a recent rockfall. The union has called for a mandatory pause in operations in the affected sector until new safety inspections are completed, a move that threatens to impact the global supply of copper used in electric vehicle manufacturing.

We pray for the safety of every worker in the Escondida mine. Lord, we ask that You would guard their lives and ensure that the new safety protocols are implemented with the utmost diligence. We also pray for the economic stability of the community that depends on this industry, asking that the negotiations lead to a resolution that honors both the safety of the workers and the livelihoods of the families who rely on their wages.

I decree that protection will surround the workers of Escondida. I speak against every accident and every hazard, declaring that no one will be harmed in the workplace. We assert the value of human life over production quotas, and we declare that Your peace will reign in the boardroom and on the mine floor. We trust that Your wisdom will guide the leaders to a just and safe outcome.

Our fifth prayer focus is the indigenous community in the Yanomami region of Brazil.

*Folha de S.Paulo* has highlighted that the indigenous Yanomami people are facing increased pressure from illegal gold miners, known as garimpeiros, who have flooded the rivers with mercury and destroyed traditional hunting grounds. The Brazilian government has announced a new task force to remove the invaders, but the remote location of the territory and the lack of infrastructure has made enforcement slow and inconsistent, leaving the indigenous families vulnerable to both violence and environmental destruction.

Father, we lift up the Yanomami people and their leaders. We ask for Your protection as they face the encroachment of those who seek to exploit their land. We pray for clarity and courage for the Brazilian authorities to uphold the law and protect indigenous rights, and for the global church to continue raising its voice in defense of these vulnerable communities.

In the name of Jesus, I command the forces of greed and exploitation to withdraw from the Yanomami territory. I declare that the land will be restored and the rivers will run clear. We stand in agreement with the indigenous leaders that their right to self-determination and to live in harmony with their creation is sacred. We decree that Your justice will be made manifest, and that the peace of the forest will be restored.
