Walking Yourself into what Others are Merely Waiting For

Have you ever found yourself in a rough place? A place filled with difficulties and suffering? Well, it’s time to make a change! Just like the Israelites in the Bible (De. 2:3), who had been circling Mount Seir for a long time, it’s time to turn northward and seek a new direction.

[Deu 2:3 KJV] 3 Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

But what does it mean to turn northward? In Isaiah 14:3, it is said that God sits on the sides of the north. By seeking God’s judgment, we can experience His mercy. The tribe of Dan camped north of the Tabernacle, and Dan means judgment. So, if we seek God’s judgment, we will find His mercy.

We must understand that God’s judgment was poured out upon Jesus on the cross. 1 Peter 2:24 tells us that Jesus carried the sins of us all, taking on the weight of God’s wrath against sin. So, if we want to break free from the rough place, we must confront the cross and recognize that Jesus has paid the price for every sin that may be holding us back.

Now, how did the Israelites escape their rough place? They walked out! In Galatians 5:25, it is said that if we live in the Spirit, we should also walk in the Spirit. We often wait passively for our circumstances to change, but that’s not the way. Just like Enoch walked with God and was taken into immortality, and just like the man at the pool of Bethesda walked into his healing, we too can walk into our breakthroughs.

The Jordan River symbolizes the “going down” place. When the Israelites left Mount Seir, they walked towards the Jordan. Isaiah 57:15 reminds us that God dwells with those who have a contrite and humble spirit. Humility is our secret weapon in God’s kingdom. In James 4:6, it is said that God gives grace to the humble. So, let’s humble ourselves, go low, and walk with God.

James 2:17 tells us that faith without works is dead. But we’re not talking about works of self-righteousness. We’re talking about walking with God, actively doing what He shows us to do. As Jesus taught in Luke 17:20-21, the kingdom of God is within us. We shouldn’t passively observe what God will do; we should actively engage with Him, understanding His plan for our lives and fulfilling our assignments.

Just like the man at the pool of Bethesda, who was waiting for the troubled waters, we need to take action. Jesus told him to pick up his bed and walk into what he had been waiting for. Similarly, we need to step out in faith, talk like God talks, and walk like He walks. By doing so, we will experience breakthroughs and see progress in our lives that we have long been waiting for.

So, let’s stop waiting and start walking! Turn your eyes northward, seek God’s judgment and mercy, embrace the cross, humble yourself, and actively walk with God. Your breakthrough awaits, and you will find what you’ve been waiting for all along by walking into it. Keep the faith, take the steps, and watch as blessings abound in your life. 🙏🏼✨ #WalkingIntoWhatYouVeBeenWaitingFor #FaithInAction #BreakthroughsAwait
