Who is the Prophet in Your Life and Why Does it Matter? You know who your pastor is but Eph. 4:11,12 lists a 5-fold ministry not merely a standalone leadership gift. We need our pastors. We also need the prophet, the apostle, the evangelist and the teacher! The prophet is in your life to bless you and activate God’s voice in your heart. 2 Chron. 20:20 says if you believe the prophet you will prosper. Who is the prophet in your life? Does it even matter? 2 Chron. 20:20 says believe the prophets and so shall you prosper. The prophet is the ONE ascension gift that Jesus made specific and certain promises about your connection to this gift. “Who is the Prophet in Your Life” will point the way to the change you have sought for over the years and no one could help you understand or come to. Great post. What is so tragic though is that the majority of pastors of local churches do not even believe that the Office of the Prophet still exist today.. The pastors insecurities with regard to this topic is tragic because it is a detriment to the growth of the local body of Christ the shepherd. The Apostle Paul encourage the use of prophecy as a gift and honor the prophetic office more than any other office except the apostle it is apostolic writings in his epistles. It’s a shame the pastors just refuse to accept or allow prophecy or people that have the mantle of the Prophet to operate in the local church
