Your Benefits Package in the Kingdom

Did you know you have a benefits package in the kingdom? There are implications when you come to Christ that cause your life to take on a characteristic of blessing that does not accrue to those who do not know Him. The Psalmist David in Isa. 68:19 tells us that the Lord pours out His blessing upon us daily:

Psalms 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

In the office, we’ve been bantering about with the saying, “it’s ALWAYS something…” Usually, we say that when things go wrong one after another, and in exasperation, we throw up our hands and exclaim, “it’s always something!” That may be true for the unbeliever because everything tends to decay outside of Christ, but in Christ, we enjoy a different dynamic – one of life, blessing, favor, and upgrade.

God wants you to walk in the upgrade of His blessing today. To be able to say in your heart, “it’s ALWAYS something!” Because you are experiencing what Psalm 68:19 talks about – daily upgrade, daily blessing, daily benefits. What is the benefits package of the believer?

Salvation:

[Mar 16:16 KJV] 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

In Christ, there is the promise of salvation. That word means security, wholeness, recovery, safety both now and in the world to come eternal life. Outside of Christ is damnation; in Christ, we are saved because we have taken refuge in the high tower of the name of the Lord.

Healing:

[Exo 15:26 ] … I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I [am] the LORD that healeth thee.

Egypt is a type of the world and those outside of Christ. Isa. 33:24 declares that in the kingdom no one will say “I am sick…” that is a now provision for your health and healing.

Wealth:

[Deu 8:18 ] … [it is] he that giveth thee power to get wealth…

Jesus came (John 10:10) that we might have life and life more abundantly. There is nothing abundant about poverty. 2 Cor. 8:9 says Jesus became poor so that we could become rich. That is just referring to “spiritual riches.” In the context of the verse, it is speaking of natural wealth. God wants you to walk in abundant supply, which is part of the benefits package of the Kingdom of God.

Take advantage of your benefits package today. Make a demand by your faith upon all that God has afforded you in Christ. Let the Lord love you and load you with your daily dose of His benefits, for it is your portion in Christ!
