You Are Delivered from the Perpetuity of Sin

Too many believers are walking around today under the weight and heavy burden of this world system, thinking that defeat, sickness, lack, and struggle are just their lot in life. God’s word casts light on these struggles and shows us how the sacrifice on Calvary made all the provision necessary to change your situation inside and out!
Open your spiritual ears and look at what the Apostle Paul wrote under the direct inspiration of the Holy Ghost in Galatians 1:4:
“Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father…”
Read that again, but don’t just read it with your physical eye or process it with your mental intellect. Get it down into your heart.

The Three-Fold Blueprint of the Father’s Will

When you look at the cross of Jesus Christ, you have to realize that Jesus didn’t just go to Calvary on a whim or as a martyr for a good cause. First and foremost, Jesus was executing the expressed, divine will of God the Father. He would not—He could not—go to that cross unless it was ordered by the Father from before the foundation of the world.
And right here in Galatians 1:4, the Holy Ghost lays out the distant purpose and ultimate objective of Christ’s sacrifice:
  1. To DELIVER us.
  2. From this PRESENT EVIL WORLD.
  3. According to the WILL OF GOD our Father.
Notice that word: DELIVER. In the original Greek language, that word isn’t a passive, mild suggestion of help. It literally means to vehemently snatch out or to perform a high-powered, aggressive rescue!
Jesus didn’t come to leave you wallowing in the mud of this world system. He came with divine authority and heavenly force to snatch you out of the grip of the adversary.

Dealing with the Root Before the Fruit

Now, here is where the revelation knowledge cuts deep into the heart of the matter.
What is He snatching us out of? “This present evil world.” One powerful rendering of this verse tells us that Jesus came to deliver us “from the perpetuity of the consequences of sin.”
Think about that! The sickness, the poverty, the torment, the spiritual death—those are all the consequences of sin. But hear this spiritual law today: God must first deal with sin IN us before He can ameliorate (remove and heal) the consequences of sin TO us.
Why? Because God is holy. As it is written: God will not look upon sin.
Sin is not just a moral blunder; sin was the great legal impediment by which death, hell, and the grave gained purchase and legal right in our lives!
Look at what the prophet Isaiah revealed in Isaiah 59:2:
“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.”

God Has Not Changed His Posture

Look at the revelation here: God isn’t hiding Himself from you!
It wasn’t God who ran away in the Garden of Eden. When Adam and Eve sinned, God didn’t change His posture—He came walking in the cool of the day, calling out, “Where are you?” God was looking for them, not hiding Himself from them.
You may feel like you can’t find God in your life, but right now, at this very moment, He is looking for you.
God hasn’t turned His back on humanity in judgment or malice; rather, our sins create a cloud—a spiritual barrier—that hides us from His manifest presence. He cannot and will not behold or fellowship with undealt-with sin. Sin breaks the frequency of communion with the Almighty.

The Great Exchange: How to Activate Your Deliverance

So how do we clear the air? How do we break the legal right of death, hell, and the grave over our families, our health, and our finances?
We deal with the sin problem through Jesus Christ!
When you bow your heart and accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, the blood of Jesus cleanses you from all unrighteousness. The barrier comes crashing down, and the cloud vanishes.
  • The sin in you is remitted by the Blood.
  • The consequences to you are broken by His stripes.
  • And you are vehemently snatched out of the dominion of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son!
Stop accepting the press and pressure of this present evil world as your destiny. The Father’s will for you is total deliverance.
Confess it with your mouth today:
“Jesus gave Himself for my sins! I am delivered from this present evil world! The consequences of sin are broken off my life, and I walk in the expressed, perfect will of my Father God! Amen and Amen!”
