The intercessory focus for today is one of settled peace and natural fruitfulness. I have been reflecting on the idea that God’s work is rarely frantic. It is steady. It is like the sun rising each morning, or the seasons turning in their proper time. We are not trying to force a breakthrough; we are aligning our hearts with the rhythm of the Father’s love. When we pray this way, we stop fighting windmills and start planting seeds. We are agreeing with the Father that His plan for your life, your family, and your ministry is already in motion. It is not chaotic; it is orderly. It is not uncertain; it is secure.

Let us take a moment to declare these truths together. Speak them aloud, slowly, letting them sink into your spirit.

Our first prayer focus is Defending Religious Freedom Against Federal and State Exclusions

The Department of Justice Office of Legal Counsel and national religious liberty watchdogs report that federal agencies have been directed to cease enforcing unconstitutional rules that force faith-based charities to surrender religious identity to receive public funds, even while several states continue passing measures that cut off educational funding for special-needs children in faith-based schools. The need is for conservative judicial courage, lasting legal protections that stop government agencies from treating religious groups like second-class citizens, and an unyielding spiritual revival that establishes righteous leadership across our federal and state courts.

Heavenly Father, we bring the United States and our legal institutions before You, asking for an awakening to biblical truth and constitutional liberty across our land. Strengthen judges, state officials, and Christian advocates defending faith-based charities, ministries, and Christian schools from bureaucratic discrimination. Grant wisdom and boldness to godly leaders in office, and break every legal trap designed to compromise the conscience of Your church, in Jesus’ name.

We take authority in Jesus’ name over every spirit of secular hostility and administrative overreach seeking to penalize believers and silence Christian ministries. We break the assignment of intimidation directed against faith-based education and charities, decreeing that religious liberty is protected by divine mandate, and that righteousness and truth will prevail in every court and legislature across America.

Our second prayer focus is the Resurgent Slaughter of Nigerian Believers in Plateau State

Christian Daily International and Morning Star News report that more than 33 Christians were brutally murdered by armed militant groups across multiple farming settlements in Nigeria within a single month, leaving dozens of families bereaved and communities displaced. The need is for urgent divine intervention, physical protection for vulnerable rural villages against midnight raids, and emergency supplies of food, shelter, and medical care for the growing thousands of displaced Christian families.

Lord God of hosts, we plead the covering blood of Jesus over our brothers and sisters across the villages of Nigeria. Be a wall of fire around every remote farmstead and Christian household, shield pastors and their families from violence, and comfort every mother and father grieving martyred loved ones. Provide miraculously for those forced to flee their lands, and let Your peace rest mightily upon the suffering remnant.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we bind and break the spirit of murder, terror, and ethnic and religious slaughter operating in Nigeria. We command the plans of armed militias to fail, decree divine confusion into their ranks, and declare that the church of Jesus Christ in West Africa will not be extinguished or intimidated, but will rise in supernatural strength and power.

Our third prayer focus is Economic Strain and Inflationary Pressures on American Families

National economic reports confirm that surging global energy prices caused by ongoing foreign hostilities have driven the Federal Reserve to implement renewed interest rate hikes, elevating borrowing costs on home mortgages, auto loans, and basic credit for millions of households. The need is for divine provision for working families and retirees navigating rising living costs, godly wisdom for economic policymakers to curb inflationary spending, and supernatural breakthrough for Christian businesses and households.

Father in heaven, You are Jehovah Jireh, our great Provider. We lift up the families and small business owners feeling the weight of elevated interest rates, fuel costs, and rising expenses. Give wisdom to our leaders to pursue righteous and prudent economic policies, open doors of supernatural favor and increase for Your people, and let the church be a beacon of generosity, stability, and stewardship during seasons of financial pressure, in Jesus’ name.

We take authority over the spirits of poverty, fear, and economic distress attempting to burden Christian households and squeeze resources away from the work of the Kingdom. We break the power of debt and financial anxiety, decreeing supernatural multiplication over our resources and declaring that God’s people will walk in heavenly abundance, provision, and divine peace.

Our fourth prayer focus is Trauma Care and Protection for Flood-Displaced Children in Nepal

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and international disaster monitors report that three weeks after devastating glacial flash floods and landslides claimed more than 1,300 lives in Nepal, over 17,000 surviving children are suffering acute psychological trauma, fear, and grief, with hundreds separated from their families and living in makeshift conditions. The need is for emergency relief, emotional healing, family reunification, and an open door for local native Christian workers to minister physical aid and the comforting love of Jesus to these broken communities.

Lord Jesus, You who tenderly welcome the little children, look with deep mercy upon the traumatized young ones and grieving families across Nepal. Protect children who have been separated from their families, comfort those who saw their homes and schools wiped away, and empower local Christian relief workers with supernatural compassion and resources to meet physical and emotional needs while sharing Your saving Gospel.

We take authority in Jesus’ name over the spirits of trauma, grief, despair, and abandonment attempting to grip this generation of children in Nepal. We speak emotional restoration and divine protection over the vulnerable, decreeing that the enemy will not use this tragedy to steal their future, and that the comforting presence of Jesus Christ will turn their mourning into joy.

Our fifth prayer focus is Defending Underground Churches and Youth Discipleship in China

Religious freedom watchdogs and regional observers report that state authorities continue to expand automated digital surveillance and enforce rigid directives that ban unregistered Christian assemblies and punish parents who introduce their minor children to biblical teaching. The need is for supernatural wisdom, covert avenues of discipleship, and unshakeable boldness for underground pastors and families seeking to raise the next generation in the fear and admonition of the Lord.

Almighty God, You see every underground gathering and every parent whispering Your promises to their children in secret. We ask that You blind the eyes of digital surveillance systems and government monitors to underground church networks. Give pastors and parents heavenly discretion to disciple the rising generation without fear of state reprisal, and let Your Word take deep, unshakable root in the hearts of young believers.

We rise up in the spiritual authority of Christ against every antichrist system of surveillance, ideological control, and state persecution designed to erase biblical faith. We decree that the Word of God cannot be chained or banned, break the power of fear over Christian parents, and declare that the underground church in China will continue to multiply in power, truth, and spiritual authority.
