The Intercessor’s Daily Update – June 24th 2026

This is Prophet Russ and welcome to the Daily Intercessor’s Update for today, June 24, 2026. The Apostle Paul instructed the church to to offer supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. This highlights a profound spiritual truth: if our nations are not quiet and peaceable, it’s  because the body of Christ isn’t praying. We look to our politicians to solve our problems but often the challenges are far beyond their reach regardless of the promises they make. Zecheriah 4:6 says “it’s not by might, not by power but by My Spirit says the Lord.” It is our prayers and intercession that connect with God’s spirit and brings true change in our lives and the world when nothing else will. We need to let our mouths pray. When the church stays silent, the enemy fills the vacuum. This update is for those who know how to drop their knees, shift atmospheres, and literally redirect the destiny of nations in prayer. The Top 10 Geopolitical Fronts

This is reminiscent of the turbulence on the home front during the Viet Nam War and it encourages our enemies to continue to resist hoping to break the will of our leaders through the unrest and objection of political opposition of a short sighted perspective. 

• [Prayer]: Father, we pray for the exposure of any hidden agendas designed seeking to create a quagmire not overseas but in the halls of government right here at home. Give our congressional and executive leaders divine wisdom. Protect the thousands of service members deployed across the region from being used as chess pieces in political maneuvers and bring an end to these hostilities overseas that will result in lasting stability and diminishing of the nuclear threat that Iran represents. 

• [Warfare Declaration]: We bind and pull down the spirits of political division, deception, and avarice. We decree that the spirit of counsel and might rests upon the leadership of this nation, and we abort every assignment of the enemy to turn this country against itself as it was in the 60s and 70s during the Viet Nam conflict.

• [Warfare Declaration]: We break the stranglehold of the spirit of economic sabotage and lawlessness operating over the Strait of Hormuz. We release a decree of the Kingdom over these waters, commanding a safe pathway for international commerce and the immediate release of held crews.

Amid ongoing violence from militant factions, Nigerian advocates and global human rights organizations recently rallied near the White House to urge stronger international intervention. In Nigeria, the body of Christ has recently erected its first Christian-themed monument dedicated entirely to honoring the thousands of victims massacred by radical extremist groups.

• [Prayer]: Father, comfort the grieving families and survivors standing before these memorials. Bring to light the hidden international funding networks fueling these terrorist cells, and grant supernatural wisdom, courage, and safe passage to the underground pastors and believers holding the line in West Africa.

• [Warfare Declaration]: We bind the demonic principalities of radical jihad, terror networks, and blood-sacrifice operating through Boko Haram and ISIS-aligned cells. We declare that the blood of the martyrs cries out, and we decree an immediate spiritual firewall of protection around the saints of God in Nigeria.

• [Warfare Declaration]: We bind the spirit of sectarian violence, fanatical hatred, and intimidation trying to drive the Christian presence out of the Holy Land. We declare that the peace of Jerusalem will prevail, and we break the power of spiritual blindness operating over the hearts of those who attack the followers of Christ.

We command the spirit of peace and order to prevail over our border facilities and judicial systems, cutting off the oxygen to underground networks of domestic terror.

Instead of strife and distraction in this matter we declare that spiritual renewal and revival is coming to our prison system at all levels regardless of the enemy’s stronghold over this element of our society.

While the enemy seeks to dominate AI for nefarious purposes, We decree that the human identity, designed in the image and likeness of God, cannot be stolen, commodified, or perverted by technocratic systems and that AI will be governed by your hand and according to your purposes in Jesus’ name.
