The Intercessor’s Daily Update – July 31st, 2026

Hello, I’m Prophet Russ with Father’s Heart Ministry, and this is the Daily Intercessor’s Update for July 31, 2026. The Holy Spirit brought Psalm twenty-seven verse fourteen to my heart today, encouraging us to wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and let our hearts be strengthened as we stand in prayer. As watchmen, we stay alert to the shifting spiritual conditions of our world, bringing real events before the Lord with confidence and faith.

Our top story today centers on the Middle East, where President Trump announced a major agreement for Hamas to disarm and for troops to withdraw from Gaza under a U.S.-brokered plan. Even as diplomatic progress unfolds in Gaza, regional tensions remain heightened as Saudi Arabia prepares defensive measures against Houthi threats and military assets in the Gulf stay on high alert.

For our prayer, we ask the Lord to grant divine protection over our service members and allies in the Middle East. We pray that God gives real wisdom to our leaders as they negotiate peace, asking that every genuine effort toward stability succeeds and that innocent families are protected.

For our warfare declaration, we stand against the spirits of terror, lawlessness, and perpetual war in the Middle East. We decree that every hidden scheme to break peace agreements or incite further chaos is bound and dismantled, and we declare God’s peace over the region.

Second, on Capitol Hill, lawmakers in the Senate are working down to the wire to finalize a government funding agreement and prevent a federal shutdown before the upcoming congressional recess. Negotiations continue over how federal funds are allocated and managed across national programs.

For our prayer, we petition the Lord for wisdom, discernment, and order in our nation’s capital. We ask God to guide our senators and representatives to make responsible decisions that protect our country, support working families, and maintain government stability.

For our warfare declaration, we break the assignment of partisan confusion, political manipulation, and economic disruption over Washington. We decree that truth and righteousness guide our lawmakers, and we declare stability over our national economy.

Third, a major cyber security investigation is underway after cyberattacks targeted the technology systems of more than thirty community water utilities across Minnesota, forcing several systems to switch to manual controls while federal agencies investigate the source.

For our prayer, we ask the Lord to protect our nation’s vital infrastructure, including our water systems, power grids, and communication networks. We pray for wisdom and quick discernment for federal cyber security teams as they identify and neutralize these threats.

For our warfare declaration, we take authority over the spirits of cyber terror, foreign subversion, and infrastructure destruction aimed at our country. We decree that every covert digital attack against America is exposed and stopped, and we declare God’s hedge of protection over our cities.

Fourth, search and rescue operations continue in southwestern Japan following a powerful magnitude seven point one earthquake in Kumamoto Prefecture that caused widespread damage, power outages, and collapsed structures during severe summer heatwaves.

For our prayer, we pray for God’s mercy and comfort over the families who have lost loved ones or been displaced from their homes. We ask the Lord to give physical strength and protection to first responders and rescue workers operating in extreme heat.

For our warfare declaration, we stand against the spirits of destruction and sudden disaster. We speak peace over impacted communities, decreeing that emergency aid, water, and power are swiftly restored, and that God’s comfort rests upon those in distress.

Fifth, emergency crews across Europe are stabilizing massive wildfires in France and neighboring countries after severe blazes burned thousands of acres. French authorities have mobilized military personnel and international support while launching extensive investigations into arson and negligence.

For our prayer, we pray for the continued safety of firefighters, military personnel, and residents returning to fire-impacted areas. We ask God to give wisdom to law enforcement officials investigating the causes of these fires and to bring comfort to affected towns.

For our warfare declaration, we bind the spirits of destruction, lawlessness, and environmental devastation. We decree protection over homes and forests, and we declare that truth and accountability will prevail over every criminal act.
