The Intercessor’s Daily Update – July 28th, 2026

Hello, I’m Prophet Russ with Father’s Heart Ministry, and this is the Daily Intercessor’s Update for July 28, 2026. Psalm 46:1 reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. When we look at world events, we don’t react in fear. We look at them through the lens of God’s Word, taking our place in prayer to intercede for our nation and the world.

Our first story today centers on the White House, where President Donald Trump is set to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The two leaders are charting the next phase of the conflict with Iran as intelligence emerges regarding expanding nuclear sites, even as temporary pauses in airstrikes have allowed oil prices to begin stabilizing.

For our prayer, we ask the Lord to grant divine wisdom and discernment to our leaders during these high-level security talks. We pray for the safety of our military personnel stationed throughout the region, and we ask God to guide every decision toward a strong, lasting resolution that protects innocent lives and secures our nation.

For our warfare declaration, we stand against the spirits of war, nuclear terror, and regional destruction operating in the Middle East. We decree that the hidden plans of hostile regimes are exposed, and we declare God’s peace and divine protection over our armed forces and our allies.

Second, Washington is hosting high-level diplomatic visits as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also meets with leadership in the capital. Meanwhile, members of Congress and conservative leaders gather today to honor the late Senator Lindsey Graham during memorial services in the nation’s capital.

For our prayer, we ask for comfort and peace for the family and loved ones of Senator Graham during today’s services. We pray for wisdom over our nation’s leaders as they navigate complex international relations, asking God to raise up men and women of integrity to guide our country forward.

For our warfare declaration, we break the assignment of political division, confusion, and grief over our capital. We decree that God’s righteousness guides our government, and we declare that truth and stability will prevail in our leadership.

Third, domestic security remains a priority as the Senate advances the nomination of Jay Clayton to serve as Director of National Intelligence. Intelligence agencies continue working behind the scenes to secure our national infrastructure and monitor emerging global threats.

For our prayer, we petition the Lord for wisdom and integrity for those who oversee our nation’s intelligence community. We ask God to give our leaders clear insight to identify and neutralize threats before they can harm our country or our citizens.

For our warfare declaration, we take authority over the spirits of deception, cyber terror, and foreign subversion aimed at our nation. We decree that every covert strategy against America is uncovered, and we declare that God’s protection covers our country.

Fourth, federal health officials at the FDA and CDC continue investigating an expanding Cyclospora parasite outbreak linked to fresh produce that has affected communities in multiple states.

For our prayer, we pray for swift healing and recovery for everyone impacted by this foodborne illness. We ask the Lord to give clear wisdom to agricultural inspectors and health workers as they work to locate and eliminate the source of contamination.

For our warfare declaration, we speak health and protection over our families and our nation’s food supply. We bind the spirit of sickness and infirmity, and we declare that fear will not take root in our homes as we trust in the Lord for our health.

Fifth, international emergency crews in Western Europe continue battling widespread, severe wildfires that have forced thousands of residents to flee their homes across regions in France.

For our prayer, we pray for the safety of the firefighters, emergency workers, and military personnel on the front lines of these blazes. We ask God to comfort those who have been displaced from their homes and to bring favorable weather and rain to help contain the fires.

For our warfare declaration, we stand against the spirits of destruction and extreme environmental chaos. We decree protection over families and communities, and we declare peace and restoration over the land.
