The Intercessor’s Daily Update – July 27th, 2026

Hello, I’m Prophet Russ with Father’s Heart Ministry, and this is the Daily Intercessor’s Update for July 27, 2026. The Holy Spirit brought Psalm forty-six verse one to my heart today, reminding us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. When we look at world events, we don’t react in fear. We look at them through the lens of God’s Word, taking our place in prayer to intercede for our nation and the world.

As a reminder, I’d like to hear from you. Do you find this update helpful? Do you have comments to share? Email me at russellwalden@gmail.com. Now let’s pray:

Our first story today centers on the Middle East, where the U.S. has paused military strikes on Iran after two weeks of intense operations. Mediators, including Oman, are actively working to negotiate safe transit through the Strait of Hormuz, where international oil shipping has been severely disrupted.

For our prayer, we ask the Lord to grant true wisdom to our military and national security leaders as diplomatic talks proceed. We pray for the protection of our service members stationed across the region and for a peaceful resolution that secures vital waterways.

For our warfare declaration, we stand against the spirits of war, destruction, and terror operating in the Middle East. We decree that the plans of those who seek to cause chaos and economic ruin are stopped, and we declare God’s peace and order over the region.

Second, the Trump administration is moving forward with plans for ICE to begin major enforcement operations targeting individuals whose Temporary Protected Status has expired following recent court rulings. This comes as federal authorities work to enforce national immigration laws and restore order along our borders.

For our prayer, we lift up our border patrol agents, ICE officers, and law enforcement personnel who are tasked with carrying out these difficult assignments. We pray for their physical safety, for discernment in every decision, and for justice and compassion to guide our legal system.

For our warfare declaration, we break the assignment of lawlessness and open-border confusion over our nation. We decree that America’s borders are secure, that our laws are upheld with integrity, and that God’s protection rests over our communities.

Third, a major health concern continues to make headlines as federal health officials monitor an ongoing Cyclospora parasite outbreak linked to fresh produce, which has now reached nearly 2,000 confirmed cases across multiple states.

For our prayer, we pray for complete healing and a quick recovery for every individual affected by this illness. We ask the Lord to give clear insight and wisdom to health inspectors and agricultural workers as they work to trace and contain the source of contamination.

For our warfare declaration, we speak health and protection over our food supply and our families. We bind the spirit of infirmity and disease, and we declare that fear will not take root in our homes as we trust in the Lord for our health and well-being.

Fourth, a legal battle over election integrity reached a new milestone after a federal appeals court upheld a ruling blocking a federal order aimed at creating a national voter list and restricting mail-in ballot distribution. This decision leaves election policies firmly in the hands of individual state legislatures as upcoming elections draw near.

For our prayer, we petition the Lord for honesty, transparency, and fairness in our nation’s electoral process. We pray that God gives wisdom to state legislators and election workers so that every legal vote is protected and counted accurately.

For our warfare declaration, we take authority over the spirits of fraud, deception, and political corruption. We decree that light will expose every hidden agenda, and we declare that truth and righteousness will prevail in our government.

Fifth, law enforcement in Seattle is investigating a tragic shooting near the Seattle Center during a local food festival that left two people dead and five others injured. Authorities have one suspect in custody as they continue searching for others involved in the violence.

For our prayer, we lift up the grieving families who lost loved ones in this senseless act of violence, and we pray for physical and emotional healing for those who were injured. We ask God to give swift justice to law enforcement as they investigate.

For our warfare declaration, we stand against the spirit of murder, violence, and random assault in our cities. We decree peace over our public places and declare that the spirit of fear will not rule over our streets or our families.
