The Intercessor’s Daily Update – July 23rd, 2026

Hello, I’m Prophet Russ with Father’s Heart Ministry, and this is the Daily Intercessor’s Update for July 23, 2026. Remember this as we pray today: “Prayer is not begging. Prayer is ruling and reigning in Christ.” When we align our voices with Heaven’s decree, we are not merely reacting to world events; we are releasing divine authority that changes the course of nations.

Our top focus centers on critical maritime gateways, where military strikes on tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea have pushed oil prices toward ninety-seven dollars a barrel amid heavy shipping disruptions. While the world sees economic instability, intercessors discern a spiritual targeting of vital gateways designed to release global panic.

For our prayer, we speak peace over the waters, asking for an impenetrable shield of supernatural protection over every mariner and military force guarding global supply lines.

We stand in Kingdom authority to break the assignment of economic fear and artificial scarcity driving these markets, and we decree God’s supernatural provision and stability over families worldwide.

Second, on the domestic front, Congress passed a major ninety-five billion dollar funding package allocating seventy-three billion dollars for defense operations in the Middle East following recent attacks on United States bases in Jordan and Kuwait, alongside critical funding for farm relief and voting initiatives. When governments allocate resources, spiritual priorities and national security protocols are set into motion.

For our prayer, we petition for supernatural wisdom over our lawmakers, asking the Lord to remove corrupt counsel, expose hidden agendas, and raise up righteous leaders who govern with integrity.

For our warfare declaration, we declare Psalm ninety-one over all deploying military personnel, and we command the divine exposure and complete dismantling of hostile drone sites and terror networks before they can strike.

Third, long-term global energy developments highlight new bilateral civil nuclear agreements alongside forty-three million dollars in World Bank approvals to expand clean energy infrastructure across Sub-Saharan Africa, even as shifting trade policies and tariffs create financial friction across Europe and Latin America. Energy and trade dictate the livelihoods of millions, and where the enemy seeks to use economic friction to breed hostility, God is opening doors for stability and gospel influence.

For our prayer, we pray that peaceful technological advancements remain protected from weaponization or sabotage, petitioning for righteous diplomacy and fair trade that shields working families.

For our warfare declaration, we decree economic breakthrough over Sub-Saharan Africa as energy networks expand, breaking the spirit of economic stagnation and commanding doors to swing wide open for the Gospel.

Fourth, we stand together in our corporate intercessory decree over the nations, uniting our voices to align our hearts directly with the Word of God for this hour.

For our prayer, we lift up our voices before the throne, asking that the peace, truth, and righteousness of God prevail across every national border and inside every hall of government.

For our warfare declaration, we stand in the gap against destruction, declaring that Jesus is Lord over the nations, over the seas, and over the governments of the earth, and we shatter every demonic strategy attempting to release global chaos.
