The Intercessor’s Daily Update – July 16th, 2026

We open today with a dramatic expansion in the West Asia War. The United States has intensified its military campaign, executing daylight airstrikes and pushing further north into Iran. Reports indicate explosions rocked multiple regions, including Semnan province—the heart of Iran’s ballistic missile and space programs—and hit targets near the capital city of Tehran itself.

Let us pray. Father, we pray for supernatural precision over allied operations and absolute protection for U.S. forces as the combat theater expands. We ask that every launch capability, missile site, and command bunker operating in the shadows of Tehran and Semnan be fully exposed and dismantled.

For our warfare declaration: We stand in Kingdom authority against the spirit of intimidation and military aggression rising from the Iranian regime. We decree that the enemy’s strategic missile networks and regional warfare hubs are shattered and neutralized, in Jesus’ name.

Turning to our second update, the naval blockade has turned hot in the Persian Gulf. U.S. Central Command confirmed that an American aircraft opened fire on and disabled a Curacao-flagged oil tanker after the vessel repeatedly ignored multiple warnings and attempted to run the blockade toward a major Iranian oil export terminal.

We lift up a shield of protection over the naval fleets enforcing this blockade. Lord, grant supernatural discernment to our maritime commanders, and let every illegal attempt to bypass these restrictions be met with immediate, decisive frustration.

We bind the spirit of maritime rebellion, smuggling, and lawlessness attempting to break international containment. We decree that the financial oxygen and supply lines feeding the enemy’s war machine are completely cut off.

Next, we look at the widening regional fallout as U.S. allies face direct retaliation. Following the expanded strikes, Iran launched an early-morning barrage of missiles and drones targeting neighboring Gulf nations, forcing air defense systems in Kuwait and Bahrain to engage in rapid intercepts to protect civilian populations.

We petition for an impenetrable shield of divine and physical protection over Kuwait, Bahrain, and all regional coalition partners. Father, grant perfect tracking and flawless accuracy to the allied defense systems keeping watch over these nations.

We break the assignment of terror, retaliation, and chaos aimed at destabilizing America’s global allies. We command the spirits of fear and regional destruction to be bound, and we loose unshakeable peace over the coalition.

In our fourth update, we look at a critical legislative shift out of Washington. A revised Senate bill heavily backed by lawmakers proposes aggressive new economic measures, introducing tariffs of up to 100% targeting the top five global buyers of Russian oil and natural gas in a direct bid to choke off foreign energy revenues.

We pray that our economic and legislative leaders are granted divine wisdom to safeguard free-market stability while holding aggressive regimes accountable. Let these policies remain firmly aligned with justice, and prevent any unintended economic fallout from burdening everyday citizens.

We take authority over the spirit of economic manipulation and globalist exploitation. We decree that the financial resources fueling tyranny and unauthorized warfare are dried up, while the wealth of the righteous remains secure.

Finally, we turn to the sports world, where a historic clash is capturing global attention. England and Argentina are set to battle in a thrilling World Cup semifinal, with the victor advancing to face Spain in the highly anticipated final match.

We pray for safety, sportsmanship, and peace over the millions of fans and athletes gathered globally. Lord, let this event be completely insulated from terror threats, crowd violence, or geopolitical disruptions, and use this international stage to foster unity.

We bind the spirit of lawlessness, violence, and civil unrest attempting to hijack public gatherings. We decree an atmosphere of peace, order, and protection over the stadiums and cities hosting these events.
