The Intercessor’s Daily Update – August 2nd, 2026

Hello, I’m Prophet Russ with Father’s Heart Ministry, and this is the Daily Intercessor’s Update for August 2, 2026. Why should we be doing this? Because the health of an individual believer and the strength of a local congregation is measured by the effectiveness of the prayer life. Jesus said His house would be a house of prayer so let’s enter into prayer today:

Our top story today centers on the Middle East, where diplomatic movements are shifting rapidly. President Trump announced a decision to pause planned military strikes on Iranian targets to allow room for high-level diplomatic talks, following direct concerns raised by regional allies and intense international maneuvering over Middle East security.

For our prayer, we ask the Lord to give supernatural wisdom and discernment to our President and national security advisors. We pray for the physical protection of our service members deployed across the region, asking God to guide these diplomatic efforts to expose hostility, prevent war, and protect innocent lives.

For our warfare declaration, we stand against the spirits of deception, false peace, and regional aggression operating in the Middle East. We decree that every covert scheme to manipulate these negotiations or launch surprise attacks against our nation and our allies is completely exposed and dismantled.

Second, a major European security crisis has erupted as thousands of migrants rushed the border into Spain’s North African enclave of Ceuta, leading Italy to temporarily suspend open travel arrangements with Spain while European leaders assemble for emergency border talks.

For our prayer, we lift up European nations as they navigate these massive migration surges. We pray for strength and wisdom for border patrol officers, law enforcement, and government officials, asking God to grant them the resolve to enforce national sovereignty and maintain public order.

For our warfare declaration, we break the assignment of lawlessness, open-border chaos, and globalist instability trying to overwhelm sovereign nations. We decree that national boundaries are protected and that truth and lawfulness prevail over border security.

Third, international corporate news highlights major energy shifts, with U.S. energy producers ExxonMobil and Chevron reporting record quarterly earnings driven by Middle East energy disruptions and rising global oil demand.

For our prayer, we ask the Lord to bless and protect our domestic energy industry and working families. We pray that American energy independence is strengthened and that economic stability flows to everyday citizens struggling with energy and living costs.

For our warfare declaration, we take authority over the spirits of financial manipulation, artificial energy scarcity, and economic oppression. We decree that God’s provision covers our nation, and we declare prosperity and stability over our economy.

Fourth, a severe public safety crisis hit Moscow after a fatal bomb blast outside a busy restaurant killed three people and injured dozens, raising international alerts over terrorism and public security.

For our prayer, we pray for the innocent victims and grieving families affected by this sudden act of violence. We ask the Lord to grant vigilance to security forces worldwide to detect and stop acts of terror before they strike public places.

For our warfare declaration, we stand against the spirits of terror, murder, and sudden destruction operating across the globe. We decree that hidden terror networks are uncovered and brought down, and we declare God’s protection over public spaces and communities.

Fifth, emergency crews across Pakistan are conducting search and rescue operations after a massive mountain avalanche struck a high-altitude expedition, killing ten people, including internationally renowned mountaineers.

For our prayer, we lift up the families and loved ones of those lost in this tragedy. We pray for physical safety and endurance for search and rescue teams operating in harsh conditions, asking the Lord to bring comfort to those grieving.

For our warfare declaration, we speak against the spirit of sudden catastrophe and disaster. We decree supernatural strength and protection over rescue workers, and we declare God’s comfort and peace over every grieving home.
