Hello, I’m Prophet Russ with Father’s Heart Ministry, and this is the Daily Intercessor’s Update for August 11, 2026. The pioneer missionary Hudson Taylor famously noted, “When we work, we work; when we pray, God works.” As watchmen on the wall, we recognize that our greatest power lies in taking our place in the Spirit, turning today’s global headlines into target points for Kingdom authority, divine intervention, and mercy.
Our top focus today centers on South America, where a massive seven point four magnitude earthquake struck Western Colombia, leaving over one hundred people dead, collapsing critical structures including a pediatric hospital wing in Cali, and prompting a national disaster declaration.
For our prayer, we ask the Lord for His profound mercy, comfort, and swift relief over the nation of Colombia. We pray for search and rescue crews working tirelessly under the rubble, asking God for miraculous awakenings of life, divine physical strength for emergency teams, and supernatural comfort for grieving families.
For our warfare declaration, we take authority over the spirit of tragedy, sudden death, and trauma over affected cities. We decree that emergency aid, medical supplies, and international support flow without hindrance, declaring God’s peace and restoration over Colombia.
Second, major military escalations intensified across Eastern Europe as Russian forces launched barrage attacks utilizing North Korean ballistic missiles against Zaporizhzhia and Kyiv, damaging civilian areas including the grounds of a children’s hospital, while Ukrainian forces targeted strategic supply hubs.
For our prayer, we petition the Lord for His shield of protection over innocent civilian populations, medical workers, and children caught in target zones. We ask God to give supernatural wisdom to international leaders to expose covert military alliances and bring a swift end to unprovoked aggression.
For our warfare declaration, we stand against the spirits of destruction, warmongering, and foreign alliances operating in dark places. We decree that hostile missile networks are frustrated, every assignment against innocent lives is broken, and God’s hand establishes order over the region.
Third, federal defense officials at the Pentagon issued an urgent twenty-one day directive to major U.S. defense manufacturers, instructing companies to rapidly accelerate weapons and missile production to replenish national stockpiles depleted by ongoing Middle East and global security commitments.
For our prayer, we ask the Lord to grant wisdom, ingenuity, and integrity to our defense industry leaders, engineers, and workers. We petition God to protect our national defense manufacturing, shield our technology from foreign industrial espionage, and ensure our nation remains secure.
For our warfare declaration, we bind the spirits of vulnerability, foreign sabotage, and economic strain over our national security apparatus. We decree that America’s strength and readiness remain steadfast under the hand of God.
Fourth, national attention turns to American agricultural communities, where family farms from California to Tennessee face severe economic friction from rising equipment costs, volatile supply chains, and land stewardship pressures.
For our prayer, we lift up our nation’s farmers, ranchers, and agricultural families. We ask the Lord to grant them financial wisdom, fair markets, and physical endurance, petitioning God to protect independent family farms and bless the work of their hands.
For our warfare declaration, we take authority over the spirits of agricultural bankruptcy, inflation, and corporate manipulation targeting small farms. We speak divine provision and economic stability over our nation’s food producers.
Fifth, emergency agencies across Western states remain on high alert as active wildfire outbreaks continue to threaten rural acreage and power infrastructure, prompting local disaster declarations and widespread smoke alerts.
For our prayer, we pray for an impenetrable hedge of safety around all wildland firefighters, utility workers, and emergency responders. We petition the Lord to calm high winds, suppress dry lightning, and send soaking rains across fire-stricken states.
For our warfare declaration, we stand against the spirits of environmental destruction, atmospheric chaos, and sudden loss. We command fire lines to hold and decree divine safety and restoration over our rural communities.
