The Audacity of Obnoxious Faith: Why Your Boldness Should Make the World Uncomfortable:
You have permission.
Read that again. You have full, divine, unapologetic permission to carry an obnoxious faith.
In a world that prizes “polite” spirituality and measured expectations, there is a call to a higher, more aggressive form of belief—one that doesn’t ask for a seat at the table but builds its own. If your life is currently comfortable enough to blend in with the status quo, it’s time to turn up the volume.
The Offense of the Impossible
Go out into your day and have the faith that offends every person around you. Offend the ones who think they know your history, your limitations, and your “place.”
There will always be those who are of the opinion that you don’t merit the goodness of God you are so presumptively believing for. They will call you arrogant. They will call you unrealistic. They will whisper that you should “be humble”—which is often religious code for “be small.”
The Truth: If your faith isn’t offending religious-minded people around you, then you are not believing big enough.
Religious mindsets love a God who stays in a box—a God who provides “just enough” to get by. But the Favor of God is not a survival ration; it is an overflow.
Think Bigger, Look Higher
The moment you settle for what is “realistic,” you have effectively dismissed the Supernatural.
Think bigger. If you can achieve it on your own, you don’t need faith.
Believe bigger. Push past the boundaries of your bank account, your resume, or your family tree.
Expect better. Refuse the “scrap” mentality.
Look higher. Stop staring at the obstacles and start looking at the Source.
The Power of “NOW”
Most people treat faith like a layaway plan—something to be realized in the distant, safe future. Obnoxious faith takes NOW as the answer. It doesn’t wait for the circumstances to align; it commands the circumstances to bow.
Settle for more. Expect more. This isn’t an ego trip; it is the baseline of God’s favor in your life. You aren’t “hoping” for a breakthrough; you are standing in the middle of one.
Thumb Your Nose at the Contrary
You are the Beloved. That identity carries weight.
When the world suggests lack, when your past suggests unworthiness, or when “logic” suggests failure—thumb your nose at it. You are not a beggar hoping for a crumb; you are an heir expecting the estate.
Do it. Do it now. Take NOW as your answer. Let your radical, obnoxious confidence be the evidence of a God who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you could ask or think.
Settle for more. The world may be offended, but you will be transformed.
