Hosea
In Eph. 5:24-27, we see Jesus taking us to Himself as His bride. In the area of the soul, the believer is the bride of Christ as the Church is corporately. We are married to Him. Hosea speaks of this also:
[Hos 2:19-20 KJV] 19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and judgment, and lovingkindness, and in mercies. 20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.
In human relationships, fidelity is not always constant, but Jesus as a bridegroom to your soul is ever faithful in lovingkindness and ever-flowing mercy. In this sense, Jesus is your spouse as He is the spouse of the Church and every believer as well. He wants us to know that level of faithfulness, fidelity, and intimacy with Him. Praise God.
