Titus
Titus is another trainee of the apostle Paul. This man’s teaching so impacted him that he brought Titus in to take over the church at Crete, the most difficult work that Paul undertook in his missionary journeys. To young Titus, Paul emphasized the transforming power of God:
Titus 3:3-6 We were foolish, disobedient, and deceived but God’s kindness and love came abundantly to render us just as though we had never sinned (transliteration).
God not only tolerates us, He utterly changes us into His image and nature to spread His gospel and bring His light to the world. I see that light in you. I see the light of Christ and the love of God flowing in you daily. What a testimony!
