Lamentations
Written by Jeremiah, the Weeping Prophet, Lamentations is one of the most sorrowful books of the Bible – HOWEVER in it’s pages you will find extreme hope and trust that God is working even in the most difficult of circumstances:
[Lam 3:21-24 KJV] 21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. 22 [It is of] the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 [They are] new every morning: great [is] thy faithfulness. 24 The LORD [is] my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
Every morning, THIS VERY MORNING God’s mercies are renewed in your life and His faithfulness will be seen in your day because the Lord Himself is your portion that you might have hope and joy for the day!
