1 John
John the Beloved perhaps understood Jesus more than any of His close followers during the time of Jesus’ earthwork. After the resurrection, John carried an innate understanding of the scope of redemption:
[1Jo 1:9 KJV] 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to purify us from all unrighteousness.
Because Christ is faithful to forgive sin, there is purity in you. Holiness is one of the signal virtues evidenced by the indwelling of God in your inner man. That purity in your heart is a testament to the goodness of God and the presence of Christ in your life. Be blessed in your day.
