Live with Prophet Russ – Don’t Set Your Sights Too Low!

Live with Prophet Russ – Don’t Set Your Sights Too Low! Prophet Russ speaks a word of impartation into your life from Heb. 12:1-2:

[Heb 12:1-2 KJV] 1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

There are two great things about this passage. First, we are given to understand that our loved ones gone to be with the Lord are aware and watching the progress of our lives. We are the church on the earth, and they are the church in the heavens. Secondly, we are admonished to look to Jesus as the author and finisher of our faith. The previous chapter is called the “roll call of the faithful” and honors the testimony of saints from Adam right down to John the Baptist’s father. The point, however is not to look to a man’s example of faith but to look to Jesus’ example of faith. If we fashion our faith after a man’s testimony we are setting our sights too low. Look to Jesus – for He represents the norm of faith that God intended you to experience and enjoy on this side of heaven. Does this resonate with you? Then share this word with a friend. Mix your faith with this word of breakthrough by sowing into this anointing. When you sow into the anointing – it sets the predicate for what happens next in your life!
