Do You Know Someone Who Needs to Repent?

Do you know someone who needs to repent?
[Rom 2:4 KJV] 4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
If you know someone who needs to repent – give them God’s goodness. If you speak to the sinner of something other than the goodness of God then your agenda is something other than their repentance.
Christian culture has been lambasting and excoriating sinners for centuries and the mass of humanity is plunging headlong into hell while the church smugly concludes they are getting what they deserve.
Make it your determination to extricate yourself from the company of those who can sleep at night while sinners perish. Pray for them. Intercede for them. Give them the testimony of God’s goodness. Speak to them of the plan of God for their lives.
Address their felt needs and wait till that question is asked “men and brethren what shall we do?” then be prepared to give the answer for which you will stand accountable in heaven.
“Repent and be baptized…”
An outmoded message to many – sadly even in the church, but God’s word stands forever and in signs, wonders and miracles will He go with you to confirm the word of His salvation to the perishing and those casting about for an exit strategy from lives of desperation.
