Matt 13:11, 18-23 (pp) He answered and said unto them, It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, hear the parable of the sower … When anyone hears the Word and does not understand it, the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart: this is seed by the wayside. He who received the seed on stony places: hears the word, immediately receives it with joy; yet has no root in himself, endures for a while but when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Seeds among thorns: those who hear the word, the cares of this world, and deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. He who receives seed in good ground: is he who hears the word, understands it; indeed bears fruit, and produces, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
There are many mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but Jesus calls sowing and reaping a mystery and shared several examples to explain. Many of those he spoke to, their livelihood was sowing seed for crops, which they would harvest for food and sell to provide for their needs. They had cattle, goats and sheep for the same purposes. Jesus used these natural examples to talk about the importance of sowing the Word of God in our hearts. To plant it in a big field, then sell everything to buy the whole field, and to find that pearl of great price to sell all to obtain it. The Word of God is filled with promises and provides for every area of need in our lives. God covered it all and when you do what He says and does, you can expect His results.

The Father says, I desire a closer relationship with you and for you to have a deeper understanding of My Word. One Word can cover a multitude of subjects. My Word is filled with layers of wisdom and direction, guidance and understanding. It contains the answers of life. It not only provides seed, but it is seed for every need. My Word is beyond finding out. One scripture you read and apply today, can have a completely different meaning for another situation tomorrow; yet will still produce a harvest any time it is applied in your life. I am not limited by human reasoning or understanding, except when it comes to being able to pour out of my blessings upon those who are unwilling to believe what I say, receive it and act on it. My Word is often opposite of what the world would say. It takes a persistent faith to press through the noise to hear my still small voice in the silence between your own thoughts. Listen, for I am speaking, and I will show you great and mighty things that you did not know.

When My Word is sown in your heart, it does produce a spiritual harvest in your life, says the Father. Your mind is being washed by the water of the Word, you are being transformed by the renewing of your mind, you are being conformed into My image, you are allowing patience to have her perfect work in you so that you will be perfect and entire lacking nothing. However, I did not come to provide only for your spiritual needs. When you seek Me first, My Kingdom and My righteousness, all these other natural needs are added to your life. You were born into a natural world with natural resources, time and gravity. It was designed as a perfectly pleasant place for you and your family to live, where you would have dominion, where your seed would be mighty and multiply in the earth. Just like I see the lilies and take care of the sparrows, I am watching over My Word to perform it in every area of your life.

What a word. Praise God! You know, 2 Chron. 20:20 says, “believe the prophets” and this is one of those moments. Sometimes prophets prophesy because they see coming for you. Then sometimes they prophesy from a level of oracle prophecy we mentioned last week. Oracle prophecy is when the thing God promises you happens BECAUSE THE PROPHET SAYS IT. The prophet doesn’t merely see it coming; they are prophesying it into existence. I declare this is your portion today. Believe for God’s best. Expect radical and immediate outcomes. Act in faith and lay hold of the impossible and see it become a manifest reality in your life! As we said last week – this is your AMAZEMENT SEASON, for we serve an amazing God!
