FIX BAYONETS: Stop Bleating, Start Marching, and Take the High Ground
Prophet Russ Walden
Listen up. Shake the sleep out of your eyes and look at the line we are standing on.
For the last eighteen months, all I have heard coming out of the pews is nervous whispering, hand-wringing, and terrified bleating: “Oh no, artificial intelligence! Oh no, the robots are coming! Is this the Beast? Is this the end? Quick, run to the hills, pull the blinds, cancel your accounts, and pretend it’s 1994 again!”
Shut up. Just stop it.
You look around, and what do you see? A whole herd of believers acting like prey—trembling at every headline, fleeing into the shadows the second the world unveils a new piece of silicon and code. Since when did the Church become a flock of scared sheep running from shadows in the digital woods?
Yes, the Good Shepherd leads us beside still waters. We are His flock. But hear me right now: we are NOT the devil’s sheep.
You are not called to cower behind the lines waiting for the enemy to starve you out. There is a time to graze, and there is a time to bare your teeth. There is a time to follow, and there is a time to kick down the gate like a roaring lion. Tomorrow morning, when the sun cracks the horizon, we go over the top—and we are taking this ground.
When Gutenberg invented the printing press, the superstitious whispered that black ink and moveable metal type smelled like sulfur. You know what the faithful did? They seized the press and flooded Europe with the Word of God until thrones shook and religious tyranny crumbled.
When radio towers went up, cynics called it the Prince of the Power of the Air. The bold took the microphone, broadcast the Gospel across closed borders, and cracked open Iron Curtains.
Now here sits Artificial Intelligence.
The secular world thinks they built it for their own little games—to sell ads, to centralize power, to pump out vanity, and to build a modern digital Babel. And half of the Church wants to just hand it over to them without firing a shot? You want to abandon the most powerful communications engine ever built and leave it entirely in the hands of the adversary?
Not on my watch.
David didn’t run away when Goliath pulled a massive, razor-sharp broadsword. He ran toward the giant, knocked him flat, stepped on his neck, and drew Goliath’s own sword out of the scabbard to finish the job. That is kingdom warfare. You do not fear the enemy’s weapons—you take them out of his hands, turn the blade around, and sever his grip on the culture!
If the enemy wants to use machine learning to flood the world with despair, noise, and deception, we commandeer that same machinery and saturate the earth with light:
First, we seize instant translation for every tribe. What used to take missionary teams forty brutal years of manual linguistic grinding can now be scaffolded in forty days. We use these models to tear down every remaining language barrier on earth so scripture reaches the unreached now.
Second, we command exponential multiplication. Believers ought to be running publishing, outreach, digital distribution, and kingdom content with ruthless efficiency—out-producing, out-writing, and out-communicating darkness on every front.
Third, we occupy the high gateways. If you vacate the digital square, don’t complain when the algorithms are hostile to truth. You don’t surrender the mountain; you dig your boots in and build a fortification on top of it.
Stop waiting for permission. Stop waiting for the faint-hearted to stop shivering in the trench.
God did not give you a spirit of timidity. He gave you power, love, and a disciplined mind. An algorithm is just math. A neural network is just code. It has no soul, it has no authority, and it bows to whoever has the guts to pick up the controls and point it toward the mission.
Check your gear. Load your mind with truth. Tomorrow morning, we stop retreating and we start advancing. We are taking the tools, we are taking the territory, and we aren’t giving back an inch.
Forward.
