Our first prayer focus is the persecuted church in Nigeria, specifically in the middle belt regions where violence against believers continues to escalate. Recent dispatches from local partners report that three churches were attacked over the last week, resulting in the displacement of nearly two thousand believers. Reports indicate that extremist groups are targeting Christian communities during the harvest season, using the chaos of economic instability to carry out violent raids. The believers are facing not only physical danger but also a severe shortage of food and medical supplies as they flee to safer areas.

Lord, we lift up these scattered sheep to You. We ask for a hedge of protection around every family that is fleeing for their lives. We pray for the provision of food, water, and medical care to meet their immediate physical needs. We ask that You would bring comfort to those who are grieving and that You would grant them the strength to remain faithful in the face of such intimidation. We ask that You would provide safe havens and that You would sustain the hands of the workers who are rushing in to rescue and care for them.

In the name of Jesus, we rebuke every spirit of terror and chaos that is operating in the middle belt of Nigeria. We break the yoke of violence that has been placed upon these communities. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers every believer, and that the enemy has no right to steal, kill, or destroy them. We command the armies of hell to retreat from the territory of the Church, and we declare that peace shall reign in these lands, not by human might, but by the power of the Almighty.

Our next prayer focus is the geopolitical flashpoint in the Middle East, specifically regarding the security situation along the eastern borders. Intelligence reports suggest that a significant buildup of military forces is taking place, with tensions rising over disputed water rights and territorial claims. The economic instability in the region is worsening, with inflation rates hitting record highs, which is driving desperation among the civilian population. This desperation is creating a fertile ground for radicalization and further conflict. We are watching closely as diplomatic channels seem to be closing rather than opening.

Father, we pray for the nations in this region. We ask that You would restrain the hands of those who seek war and that You would open the eyes of those in leadership to the catastrophic cost of conflict. We pray for the economic stability of the families who are caught in the crossfire. We ask that You would provide wisdom to the diplomats and leaders who are trying to negotiate a peace that is just and durable. We lift up the civilians who are suffering from the lack of resources and the constant threat of violence.

In the name of Jesus, we declare that the spirit of war is bound in this region. We cancel every agreement made in darkness and every plot to ignite a regional conflict. We stand on the promise that the Prince of Peace is the Prince of this place. We decree that the hearts of the leaders will be turned toward peace, and that the resources of the earth will be shared in justice and equity. The enemy’s plans for division and destruction are null and void in the name of Jesus.

Our next focus is the church liberty issue in India, where new legislation is being proposed that would further restrict religious gatherings and the use of public spaces for worship. Reports from local leaders indicate that the new bill would require a special license for any gathering of more than ten people, effectively criminalizing the informal worship meetings that are the backbone of the church in many rural areas. This is a direct attack on the freedom of conscience and the right to worship God without state interference. The church in India is feeling the weight of this new pressure, and there is a fear that it will lead to a broader crackdown on all religious minorities.

Lord, we bring the church in India before You. We ask for courage and clarity for their leaders as they navigate this new legal landscape. We pray for wisdom in how they respond to these restrictions, that they might be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. We ask that You would strengthen their faith and that You would provide legal counsel and support to those who are challenging these unjust laws. We lift up the believers who are gathering in homes and secret places, and we ask that You would be with them and that You would bless their worship despite the constraints.

In the name of Jesus, we break the spirit of religious intolerance that is driving these legislative changes. We cancel every assignment to suppress the worship of God in India. We declare that the Church is free to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, and that no human law can bind the soul to God. We stand on the authority of the Great Commission and declare that the gospel will continue to spread in India, unimpeded by the restrictions of men. The power of the Holy Spirit is greater than any statute or decree.

Lastly is the humanitarian crisis in the Caribbean, where a major hurricane has recently made landfall, causing widespread devastation. Reports indicate that the storm has damaged or destroyed thousands of homes, and the infrastructure, including power grids and water systems, is severely compromised. The relief efforts are being hampered by the sheer scale of the destruction and the limited resources available to the local government. There is a critical need for medical supplies, clean water, and temporary shelter for the displaced families. The community is reeling from the loss, and there is a deep sense of uncertainty about the future.

Father, we lift up the people of the Caribbean to You. We ask for Your comfort and Your presence in the midst of this tragedy. We pray for the safety of the relief workers who are on the front lines, and we ask that You would provide them with strength and resources. We pray for the families who have lost their homes and their loved ones, and we ask that You would bring them hope and restoration. We ask that You would provide for the immediate physical needs of the people, and that You would bring about a long-term recovery that restores their communities and their faith.

In the name of Jesus, we declare that the power of the storm is past. We cancel every assignment of despair and hopelessness that is trying to take root in the hearts of the people. We decree that the hand of God is upon this land, and that restoration is coming. We declare that the community will be rebuilt, stronger than before, and that the presence of God will be felt in every home and every heart. The enemy’s work of destruction is undone in the name of Jesus.
