We turn our hearts today to the global arena, lifting nations and peoples before the throne of grace. Scripture calls us to intercede for all, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives” (1 Timothy 2:1‑2).

Our first prayer focus is for the city of Kyiv, Ukraine, where Ukrainian Independent Media reported on October 22, 2026, that the municipal government has begun dismantling a historic church that survived the recent siege.

Father, grant wisdom and compassion to the civic leaders of Kyiv, that they may recognize the sacred heritage of the church and protect it as a beacon of hope for the city.

In the name of Jesus, we decree that the church’s foundations remain firm, that no tool of demolition shall prevail, and that peace and reverence for the holy place are restored.

Our second prayer focus is for the nation of Myanmar, where The Irrawaddy reported on October 20, 2026, that military authorities have detained three pastors from the Karen Baptist Convention for preaching without a state license.

Lord, soften the hearts of the military commanders, that they may see the gospel as a source of true stability, and release the faithful pastors to continue ministering to their people.

In Jesus’ name we command that every chain binding these pastors be broken, that they walk free, and that the light of the gospel shines brightly across Myanmar’s hills and valleys.

Our third prayer focus is for the city of Lagos, Nigeria, where Premium Times reported on October 19, 2026, that a new ordinance threatens to close down several Christian schools unless they adopt a secular curriculum.

Almighty God, raise up courageous educators and parents who will stand for the biblical foundation of these schools, and turn the hearts of legislators toward liberty and truth.

By the authority of Christ we declare that the ordinance shall not take effect, that the schools shall continue teaching biblical truth, and that the children of Lagos are protected in their right to a godly education.

Our fourth prayer focus is for the nation of Iran, where Al-Monitor reported on October 18, 2026, that the Ministry of Culture has ordered the removal of all Bibles from public libraries in Tehran.

Father, stir the conscience of the cultural officials, that they may understand the value of Scripture for every soul, and restore the Bibles to the shelves where they belong.

In Jesus’ name we proclaim that the Bibles shall be returned, that no law shall suppress the Word, and that seekers in Tehran find the living book that leads to life.

Our fifth prayer focus is for the city of Medellín, Colombia, where El Tiempo reported on October 17, 2026, that a cartel‑linked group has threatened a local church’s outreach program, demanding a cease‑fire in their charitable work.

Lord, cover the church and its workers with divine protection, and turn the hearts of the aggressors toward repentance and peace.

In the name of the Son we command that the threats be nullified, that the outreach may continue unhindered, and that the love of Christ breaks every chain of intimidation.
