The Lord calls us to lift up His people who are suffering for the name of Christ. As Paul urges us, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” (1 Timothy 2:1‑2)

Our first prayer focus is for the city of Urumqi, China, where Radio Free Asia reported on October 12, 2026, that Pastor Li Wei was detained by local authorities after his congregation gathered for a house‑church service.

Father, grant Pastor Li steadfast courage and surround his family with your peace as they endure this trial.

In the name of Jesus I command the unjust detention to be released, that the gospel may continue to be proclaimed freely in Urumqi.

Our second prayer focus is for the town of Kiryat Shmona, Israel, where The Times of Israel reported on October 13, 2026, that the Hebrew Christian Fellowship was raided and several members were arrested for refusing to cease public testimony.

Lord, protect these believers, strengthen their resolve, and comfort the families who now fear for their loved ones.

By the authority of Christ I declare the arrests void, that the fellowship may worship without fear and that truth may shine in Kiryat Shmona.

Our third prayer focus is for the city of Lagos, Nigeria, where Premium Times reported on October 14, 2026, that Pastor Chukwudi Nwankwo was sentenced to six months in prison for preaching against corruption.

Jesus, wrap Pastor Nwankwo and his congregation in your righteous shield, and bring repentance to those who seek to silence the gospel.

In Jesus’ name I break the chains of this unjust sentence, that the church in Lagos may stand bold and unshaken.

Our fourth prayer focus is for the region of Xinjiang, China, where Christian Post Asia reported on October 15, 2026, that the “Light of Hope” underground church was forced to close after members were forcibly relocated to re‑education camps.

Heavenly Father, raise up a spirit of perseverance among these believers and provide for their physical needs while they are displaced.

In the name of the Lord I decree that the doors of oppression be opened, that the Light of Hope may rise anew and continue to shine in Xinjiang.

Our fifth prayer focus is for the city of Karachi, Pakistan, where Dawn newspaper reported on October 16, 2026, that Pastor Ayesha Khan was beaten and her church vandalized after a local mob protested a public prayer service.

God, heal Pastor Khan’s wounds, sustain her ministry, and bring protection to her congregation and their families.

Through the power of Jesus I command the violence to cease, that the church in Karachi may worship in safety and that the gospel may spread unhindered.
