The dominion of Christ is to be declared over every strategy that the enemy raises against His people. As the Apostle Paul urged, “the prayers of the saints are powerful and effective” (James 5:16). We are called to lift up the seats of power, that the reign of Jesus might be manifest in every sphere.

Our first prayer focus is for Austin, Texas, where The Austin American‑Statesman reported on October 11, 2026, that the City Council voted to replace a historic monument with a “diversity” statue, erasing a symbol of Christian heritage.

Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those council members, that they would recognize the value of preserving the testimony of Christ in public memory.

In the name of Jesus we decree that the council’s decision be reversed, that the monument remains as a witness to the Savior, and that a spirit of reverence for the Gospel fills every meeting of Austin’s leaders.

Our second prayer focus is for London, United Kingdom, where BBC News reported on October 10, 2026, that the High Court dismissed a lawsuit seeking to prevent a Christian school from teaching biblical truth in its curriculum.

Lord, grant wisdom to the judges and attorneys involved, that they would see the importance of religious liberty and the right of parents to raise their children in the fear of the Lord.

In Jesus’ name we declare that the court’s ruling be upheld, that the school may continue to teach Scripture openly, and that the Holy Spirit would protect all Christian educators in the United Kingdom.

Our third prayer focus is for São Paulo, Brazil, where Folha de S.Paulo reported on October 9, 2026, that a major television network aired a documentary accusing evangelical churches of financial fraud without presenting evidence.

Father, bring conviction to the network’s producers and editors, that truth and integrity would be restored in their reporting, and that the reputation of God’s people would be defended.

In the authority of Christ we command that the network issue a public correction, that false accusations be removed, and that the voice of the Gospel be broadcast without distortion across Brazil.

Our fourth prayer focus is for Johannesburg, South Africa, where The Sunday Times reported on October 8, 2026, that a municipal ordinance was passed allowing the seizure of church property deemed “non‑essential” during a water shortage, targeting several congregations.

Lord, intervene in the hearts of the city officials, that they would honor the principle of religious freedom and recognize the church as a vital source of community support in times of crisis.

In Jesus’ name we proclaim that the ordinance be amended, that no church property is taken unjustly, and that the city’s response to the water emergency includes partnership with the body of Christ.

Our fifth prayer focus is for Seoul, South Korea, where Yonhap News Agency reported on October 7, 2026, that a popular streaming platform removed a series created by a Korean Christian filmmaker, citing “inappropriate religious content.”

Father, we ask that You would move the platform’s leadership to reconsider, that they would respect creative expression rooted in faith, and that believers worldwide would have access to uplifting, gospel‑centered media.

In the name of the risen Christ we decree that the series be restored to the platform, that the removal be reversed, and that the Korean film industry be encouraged to produce works that honor the Lord.
