The Lord calls us to lift up His people who suffer for His name. As 1 Timothy 2:1‑2 reminds us, “I exhort therefore, that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people… for kings and all who are in authority.” May our petitions be rooted in this biblical mandate.

Our first prayer focus is for Pastor Samuel Osei in Accra, Ghana, reported by **Christian Today** on October 5, 2026, who was detained for refusing to close his church after a government order.

Father, grant Pastor Osei steadfast courage to endure his imprisonment, and surround his family with peace that surpasses understanding.

In the name of Jesus we decree that the chains placed upon Pastor Osei’s ministry are broken, that divine protection surrounds his congregation, and that the truth of the Gospel continues to be proclaimed in Accra despite opposition.

Our second prayer focus is for the family of Pastor Li Wei in Chengdu, China, reported by **The Christian Post** on October 3, 2026, after police raided their house of worship and confiscated Bibles.

Lord, raise up boldness in Pastor Li Wei and his family, and provide for their material needs as they face loss of property and livelihood.

We proclaim in Jesus’ name that every hidden Bible in Chengdu is illuminated by the Holy Spirit, that the raid yields no victory over the Word, and that believers there are strengthened to bear witness.

Our third prayer focus is for Rev. Ana María Torres in Medellín, Colombia, cited by **BBC News** on October 4, 2026, after a mob set fire to the church she leads, injuring several congregants.

Almighty God, heal the physical wounds of those burned, and comfort the grieving hearts of Rev. Torres and her flock.

In Jesus’ authority we declare that the fire’s destructive intent is nullified, that the church in Medellín stands firm, and that the flames are turned into a beacon drawing many to Christ.

Our fourth prayer focus is for Pastor Musa Abdul in Kano, Nigeria, reported by **The Guardian Nigeria** on October 2, 2026, after he was sentenced to five years in prison for preaching the Gospel.

Father, soften the hearts of the judges and officials, and grant Pastor Musa perseverance and spiritual vigor throughout his incarceration.

We command in the name of Jesus that every unjust sentence against Pastor Musa is overturned, that divine favor releases him swiftly, and that the Gospel continues to spread in Kano through his testimony.

Our fifth prayer focus is for the congregation of St. Michael’s Church in Kyiv, Ukraine, noted by **Ukrainian Press** on October 6, 2026, after artillery fire damaged the sanctuary and forced worshippers to meet in underground shelters.

Lord, protect the believers as they gather in safety, and provide resources to rebuild their sacred space.

By the power of Christ we decree that the artillery cannot silence worship in Kyiv, that the walls of St. Michael’s will be restored, and that the church’s praise rises louder than any cannon’s roar.
