Are You an Ass, Tied?

I Just Want to be the Ass that the Lord Rides in On!Matthew 21:2 [And Jesus], Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
When Jesus entered triumphantly into Jerusalem he sent his disciples to find an ass, tied with its colt to bring them to him that He might ride upon them to enter the city. Are you an ass, tied waiting to serve the Master? Some are asses tied, others are just asses. As for me, I just want to be the ass that the Lord rides in on.
Asses were used by God many times in scripture, including Baalam’s ass that spoke. Balaam beat that animal but God used that ass to save the life of a disobedient prophet. Are you an ass, tied? Held in a certain place waiting for Jesus to use you as the carrier of His glory in your city? Sometimes the waiting is long but be patient and God will show up and use you in one moment of fulfilled destiny – then you will be the ass Jesus uses to ride in on.
