Healing Reality 83:
In 1 Peter 2:24, we see that healing is a “past/present” provision:
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye “were healed.”
This is a quote from Isaiah that says that you “are healed” by his stripes. Peter changed the wording to “were healed” because, after the work of the cross, healing is not something we’re looking forward to but something we look back to as an ironclad promise of God! Your healing, and your divine health, is an ironclad promise of God to enjoy and enter into today!
