The Father says today, deemphasize the natural man on the inside of you, and the spirit man (where I live) will stand up and take dominion. You were not created for deprivation, downturn, or to live out your life as a victim. When the flesh complains, whimpers and murmurs against the Spirit and against My word, militate boldly against it. As I carried My Cross to the hill of Golgotha, even so, you must carry your cross by saying in your soul, “I must decrease that He might increase on the inside of me…” I am the ultimate territorial Spirit, says the Father, and there is unclaimed territory on the inside of you that must yield and must be conquered for My promise and your destiny to be established in your life.
Know this, says God – there is no outward conquest without the inward defeat of the motions of the flesh, the demands of the natural man, and the objections of the carnal, unreasoning mind. This is what growth in the Spirit is all about. I stand at the door and knock, says God, and there are many entrance ways on the inside of you that yet stand barred to My path. The initiative is yours to open and to yield and say “yes” to Me even when you are being stretched and being challenged. I know you don’t always understand. My ways are not man’s ways, but if you choose – if you make a quality choice to accept My word and stand on My promise, you will never be disappointed.
