The Father says today I placed in every man’s spirit an internal guidance system to protect you from the misdirection of the enemy. Listen to that inner prompting. Trust your gut about who you listen to and who you follow. Some folks out there are chasing after things that just don’t have any real substance to them, and what they say? Well, it might sound good, but it’s like trying to hug smoke – nothing’s really there. Their “know-it-all” talks? Often just their own ideas dressed up fancy. And any comfort they offer? It’s like a little puff of air, gone in a second. When their focus is not on the Throne, when they are not Christo-centric in their message, they can leave you feeling a little empty and unsure of where to go. Their quick fixes? They don’t really fix anything deep down or bring that real, cozy peace, but remember in spite of all the insecurity these counterfeit ministries bring, I am there with you always, walking you through and past every misdirection of the enemy.

Think about where those little whispers you hear are coming from. Those “look at me” folks? The things they speak out often doesn’t have any real weight to it. Their take on things can be a little twisted, not grounded in the truth of My word or the authenticity of My Spirit? And that super-easy answer they’re waving around? It’s often just a mirage, a little trick of the light. It won’t really help you when things get difficult. Don’t get swept away by their flashy words or those ideas that seem too good to be true, those exhortations that have nothing to do with the Cross, discipleship or the cost of following Me in all things. Instead, bend your ear low keep your feet planted on what feels real and true. That’s where you’ll find the real support and direction you need. You’re safe with Me, always and you will come out of the challenges, the fire of adversity without even the smell of smoke on your garment.
