The Exceeding Great Reward is Yours – Today!

The Entrance of Light and the Mind of the Spirit:

The journey into spiritual maturity is not an accumulation of intellectual facts, but the entrance of divine light, even the light of God that falls on you and is present in you, changing you into His image. True understanding often bypasses the human intellect—which is frequently plagued by fear and alienation—and speaks directly to the spirit. We must recognize that the human mind, in its natural state, is often a construct of fear, separated from the life of God. However, when we approach the Creator, we must move beyond the tangible and the intellectual to a place of absolute faith. We must believe not only that He exists, but that He is the very substance of our reward.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” — Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

This scripture anchors us in the reality that God is not merely an observer, but the “Exceeding Great Reward” Himself. When we seek Him, we are not seeking a transactional gift, but the restoration of our original state. The reward is the realization of His presence, which dispels the darkness of the carnal mind and replaces the logic of fear with the assurance of faith.

The Living, Active Word

The Word of God is not a static doctrine or a history book; it is a living force of action. It is not passive. Throughout history, those who touched the miraculous did so because they acted upon a revelation that superseded their physical reality. Jesus revealed Himself not as a figure merely within time, but as the “I AM”—the Alpha and Omega who stands outside of time, orchestrating our days and our personal timelines till they reflect His glory, blessing, and love. In this spiritual reality, there is no gradual alphabet of learning, but an immediate recognition of truth. God is not a theological concept; God is the Word, and the Word is the creative power that sustains the universe.

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” — Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)

Because the Word is “quick and powerful,” it cuts through the noise of human voices that speak guilt, sickness, and failure. It separates the lies of our emotions from the truth of our spirit. When we embrace the “I AM,” we step out of the doctrine of the letter, which kills, and into the Spirit, which gives life, allowing the living Word to reconstruct our reality.

Heir of All Things

In these last days, God speaks to us through His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things. This inheritance is not limited to material possessions like land or houses; it is an inheritance of all Light and all Knowledge. As joint-heirs, we are granted access to a wisdom that transcends natural laws—the laws of gravity, disease, and sin. This divine Light is the constitution of the universe; it is the energy that holds the molecules of our bodies in perfect operation. Just as the lilies of the field are clothed in glory without toil, we are sustained by the light of the knowledge of the glory of God.

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” — Hebrews 1:1-2 (KJV)

The connection here is profound: the same power that “made the worlds” is the power we inherit. By receiving the Son, we receive the creative command that originally said, “Let there be light.” This light shines in our hearts to dispel the darkness of ignorance, aligning our physical bodies and our circumstances with the perfection of the Creator’s original design.

The Destruction of Fear and Death

The greatest myth plagued upon humanity is the fear of death, which serves as the root of all other fears, including sickness and lack. However, the Gospel declares a finished work: Jesus partook of flesh and blood specifically to destroy him who had the power of death—that is, the devil—and to deliver those who were subject to bondage through fear. If the author of fear has been destroyed, then the legitimacy of fear is gone. We are no longer subject to an evil power or a dualistic struggle between good and evil; we stand in the victory of the finished work of Calvary.

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” — Hebrews 2:14-15 (KJV)

When we grasp the truth of this verse, we realize that the battle is not against a living monster, but against the ignorance of a defeated foe. The work is finished. There is no future battle to be won; there is only the present acceptance of the peace Jesus gave—a peace the world cannot understand, where no evil can truly enter or defile the temple of God, which we are.

Complete in Him

We must move away from the concept of a distant God judging us from the sky and embrace the reality of our union with Him. We are complete in Him. God does not operate in time—past, present, or future—He dwells in the eternal “Now.” Therefore, He does not hold our past iniquities against us because, in the Spirit, that old humanity has died with Christ. We are the body of Christ, the fullness of Him that fills all in all. Our identity is not found in our failures, but in His perfection.

“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” — Colossians 2:9-10 (KJV)

This completeness means there is nothing left to add to our spirit. We do not need to beg for forgiveness for a nature that has already been crucified. We are invited to walk in the “holy calling” that was given to us before the world began. Our struggle is not to become something new, but to awaken to who we already are: the blameless, spotless offspring of God, washed clean and restored to the Father’s house.

Reflection and Review

God is calling us to a radical shift in perspective—from a mindset of lack, fear, and striving to a mindset of rest, light, and oneness. We are reminded that God is not a distant judge but an immediate, indwelling reality. The struggle with sin, sickness, and fear is dissolved not by human effort, but by the entrance of light which reveals that the work is already finished. We are heirs of a Kingdom that is not coming “someday,” but is available now. By stepping out of the timeline of human regret and into the eternity of God’s presence, we allow His life to swallow up our mortality, manifesting the sons and daughters of God in the earth.

Call to Action

  • Audit Your Words: For the next 24 hours, refuse to speak words of failure, sickness, or fear. Align your speech solely with the “finished work” of Christ.

  • Practice “The Now”: When regret of the past or anxiety for the future arises, stop and remind yourself that God is the “I AM,” and you are complete in Him right now.

  • Renounce Fear: Actively verbally renounce the spirit of fear over your life, declaring that the one who held the power of death has been destroyed.

  • Meditate on Light: Spend ten minutes quietly visualizing the light of God filling every cell of your body, displacing any darkness or disorder.

  • Accept Your Inheritance: Read Hebrews 1 aloud and thank God that you are a joint-heir of all light, wisdom, and power, capable of overcoming natural limitations.

Let’s Pray Together

Father of Light,

We come before You, not as beggars seeking bread, but as sons and daughters returning to the realization of our inheritance. We thank You that the veil has been torn and the darkness of ignorance is being dispelled by the entrance of Your Word.

We declare today that the work is finished. We step out of the timeline of fear and anxiety and into the eternal Now of Your presence. We thank You that You are our Exceeding Great Reward, and in You, we lack nothing. We renounce the spirit of fear and the lie of separation. We accept the truth that we are complete in Him, washed, justified, and sanctified.

Let the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead quicken our mortal bodies even now. May the light of the knowledge of Your glory shine in our hearts, rearranging our reality to align with Your perfection. We stand as heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, fully persuaded that what You have spoken, You are also able to perform.

We rest in Your love, we walk in Your power, and we live in Your peace.

In the mighty name of Jesus,

Amen.
