True and lasting victory doesn’t come from intricate strategies, but from a heart that prioritizes God’s kingdom and responds to His voice. By centering our attention and affection on Christ, we can press through opposition and find that our simple acts of obedience unlock massive doors of blessing. It’s about returning to the fundamental truth that as we take care of God’s business, He will faithfully take care of ours.

Seeking the Kingdom First

The modern world can overwhelm us with its endless demands, leaving us feeling weary and discouraged. When facing spiritual opposition, it’s easy to believe that our deliverance requires an elaborate, difficult plan. But the solution is often found in the most straightforward command: to seek God’s kingdom above all else. This isn’t just a suggestion; it is the key to unlocking divine intervention in our lives. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

God often places us in situations that feel like a spiritual pawn in enemy territory, not to abandon us, but to demonstrate His power and bring us into a greater dimension of His authority.

Tribulation is a normal part of the Christian life and a gateway into God’s kingdom. By pressing into these moments, we move from being passively affected by spiritual warfare to actively engaging with God’s power and purpose for our lives.

This intentional and focused prayer, especially when we feel a spiritual wall, can be supercharged by praying in the Spirit, which breaks through resistance and sustains our momentum.

Ephesians 6:18

The verse above highlights the necessity of constant and diverse forms of prayer, particularly “in the Spirit,” which refers to praying in tongues.
