Promise 66: Psalms – 19

It would be difficult to choose just one verse from Psalms, there are so many. There is one verse however that sums up succinctly the promise of God from this wonderful book:

[Psa 107:6 KJV] 6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, [and] he delivered them out of their distresses.

Life is often attended by difficulty and challenges, but here is God’s promise: When you cry out to Him, He will deliver you from all distress. That word dis-stress implies that whatever gives you stress, God can, and will and is disposed to make things different in your life. Keep trusting. Keep expecting a better day. Persevere in knowing that His mercy is renewed every morning and today is the day of your salvation!
