Habakkuk
The prophet Habakkuk declares in his message where joy originates in our lives as children of God:
[Hab 3:18-19 KJV] 18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19 The LORD God [is] my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ [feet], and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
Where does our joy originate? In life’s circumstances? In the good regard of others? The beauty is that our joy originates in God, who changes not and is ever constant. In this, He becomes our strength and makes our feet like hind’s feet – scaling every difficulty with ease and walking with Him in the high places of the earth!
