Promise 66: Zephaniah – 36

Zephaniah

Being God-inside-minded is the basic truth of the Christian experience. Because God is in you, there is an assurance of rest, love, and overflowing joy – so says the prophet Zephaniah:

[Zep 3:17 KJV] 17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee [is] mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

I know that you know God is not just around you – He is IN you in a fundamental and intrinsic way. Because God is in you, JOY is in you, LOVE is in you, God’s MIGHT is in you, and as the scripture above declares – He is SINGING OVER YOU this day with joy. That’s your Papa-God. That’s who He is and what He does, and you are the apple of His eye.
