Promise 66: 2 Corinthians – 47

2 Corinthians

In Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians, he emphasizes the ministry of comfort that we find in Jesus as our Savior.

[2Co 1:3-4 KJV] 3 Blessed [be] God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Note that Jesus is not the God merely of *some* comfort but the God of ALL comfort. When does He comfort us? When we get to heaven? No, v. 4 states that He comforts us IN the tribulation (difficulties) we may face, for those in trouble of any kind. Be encouraged. This very day God is your comfort. He is your God of ALL comfort in the midst of any trouble or difficulty you have in front of you!
